Between my two brothers (Age 3 & 6) they have three Ugly Dolls (Ice Bat - Blue, Black Ice Bat, and Suntan). My niece (age five now) has wanted one for several months, she'd come over and play in the parties they'd have with the Ugly Dolls. She thought they were absolutely fantastic.
So, for her birthday, I purchased Moxy and added a purple bow to each ear to dress it up a bit for the party! It was absolutely her favorite present out of all the gifts she received.
With three Ugly Dolls in the household, we know that the Ugly Dolls are durable, good for boys and girls, and very washable! I would definitely recommend these!

I received Moxy as a surprise from my boyfriend a little over a year ago. Although he's bought me several, more expensive things throughout our relationship, Moxy remains one of my all-time favorite gifts.
Why?
I wouldn't say I'm a big collector, but I do love and appreciate a good toy when I see one. UglyDolls are amongst my favorites - Both old-fashioned and modern, I see them as a new classic.
Soft, simple, and sweet. They are quirky, in a good way. They're extremely well-made. (These toys were made to last.)
They also make a good gift for all sorts of people -
Babies like to use UglyDolls as sleep companions and teethers. Toddlers often become very attached, and drag the little monsters everywhere. Many older kids and teenagers collect them, or would collect them if they only had the money.
I've even seen them used them as decorative cushions on sofas.
The price may seem a little steep for such a simple toy... but oftentimes, the simple toys become the most cherished.

My boyfriend bought me a Moxy doll for my birthday last year. I loved it immediately, its goofy, lovable appearance demands attention. I recommend all the ugly doll products as great gifts. They also make interesting conversation starters. "What is that thing?" It's an Ugly Doll of course!

She loved it, She said "Aunt Lara, the Ugly doll is so ugly!"-in a good way. Plus, it's very resilient, my 3yr old nephew had fun with a Sharpie marker the day after she received it (creating a bit of drama) and with my sister's help it came out clean with no scars.
