works for me March 9, 2010 Joseph I was attracted to the colors of this one! Yes the machine works as expected. 4 AAA batteries to run this is not my favorite source of power for my tool box but I really have no genuine complaints here. I have not noticed much difference in dimensions from the vertical held ones in fact this may be smaller from my memory, which in my use smaller is better, but I think its all personal preference. Of course being made by Brother the replacement label cartridges should be easy enough to get my hands on was my other justification, though I have not verified this yet I am pretty confident that I am right.
Great little machine February 14, 2010 Reynold D. Gardner (Junction City OR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the second labeling machine that I have owned. My 3 year old destroyed the first brother system. This unit is clean, intuitive and easy to use. I as some what concerned with the color scheme (child like) and my 4 year old now thinking this was his new toy to destroy. The replacement cartridges are affordable. If this were to die tomorrow I would order a replacement the same day.
Labeler February 11, 2010 Rx dude (Northern CA) This machine is great. It's somewhat addictive to go and label things. Like other reviews, I would agree that this device uses a lot of battery overall. There are a lot of options for printing, from wide/tall, single/double lines, and multiple fonts. It's very versatile.
Great little label maker January 30, 2010 A. Dalgleish (Long Valley, NJ USA) I needed a simple, easy to use, label maker for organizing at home and this product fit the bill. It's lightweight and easy to operate. The labels come out clear and quality of labels are great as well. The LED display function is easy to read and lets you check the label prior to printing. Adhesive quality of labels is also great meaning they stick and stay in place! The keyboard takes a little time to navigate learning the various functions but after you play with it a little you get the hang of it. The instruction manual could be a little more descriptive or clearer in explaining how to use the functions. The labels are sometimes hard to peel. Overall, I love this product and I think it's worth the price!
Does Exactly What I Want January 6, 2010 Jennifer Anderson (Meridian, ID United States) I have been looking for a good cost effective labler that can print nice lables for quite some time now. Using quality batteries and understanding that the tape cartrage is not going to last forever, I am perfectly happy with this machine. When I compare it to others, it is less expensive to use, easy to use and the Lables look Fantasic. Not only that but when I need to remove them, so far they are coming off easily but not on their own. I would definitly recommend using this product without hesitation, In fact I already know two people who want one of their own in the near future because they were so impressed with my machine. It really sells itself.
