"Ready for take-off…here we go!" Diminutive pilots in training can let their imagination take flight with this stocky, swooshy, wiggly-wobbly airplane. Measuring 12 inches nose to tail, and 8 inches from wingtip to wingtip, this sturdy plastic plane features a pilot, two passengers, a piece of luggage, a door that opens, six windows, including the pilot's windshield, a handle over the cut-out top, working wheels (which make the pilot and passengers go up and down as if encountering turbulence), and the obligatory face on the front of the craft. Push down on the pilot in her seat (yes, her seat…we are in the 21st century, you know!) for flashing lights, a tune, flight attendant commentary, and swooshing airplane sounds. Judging from the outfits of the passengers and the palm tree design on the wings, this aircraft seems to be headed for a tropical port--airport, that is. What's not to love? Our son has enjoyed this toy almost daily. It rarely gets put aside. He figured out how to make the sounds easily, (but not too easily).

I purchased this for my 2 year old grandson for Christmas. He loves cars or, anything that moves, and loves to interact with the little peole. I am sure he will spend many hours making all kind of sounds while playing with this airplane.

My 3 year old grandson is "into" airplanes and helicopters. He also has a brother who is 18 mos. old. So toys are shared a lot. This one is fantastic for both ages. The 3 yr. old enjoys it, making it fly around and pretending he is going on a trip. The 18 mos. old loves to open the door, close the door and generally push it around. Yes, it is a bit heavy but it can take the wear and tear of 2 energetic little boys. The music it plays is fun to listen to and isn't too loud (like lots of other toys).
My 2 year old loves this plane, but I paid less than $10 for it elsewhere September 29, 2009

Good sturdy little toy. My 2 year old loves flying it into the "airplane port" on the couch. It's fun. I did, however, get it at Kohls for like $9. Not sure I'd pay $25 for it. Disappointing since Amazon is usually a better bargain!
