Was rather dubious about this initially. I mean how much fun can a moon nightlight really be. But, having bought it for my kid who is doing about moon phases at school, I was really pleased about how much he enjoys it. In addition to the educational value of moon phases it is on everynight as a nightlight. No complaints.

This is a great item to add some extra light to my boys room. Does use a lot of batteries, but they love it and I have taugt them the moon phases.

We love this toy. Our 5-year-old started having trouble staying in bed at bedtime and kept coming out of his room - not anymore. He can control the moon light with a remote control and doesn't have any excuse to get out of bed anymore. He loves it. The perfect "brightness" for a nightlight. Shuts off automatically after 30-minutes so no wasting batteries. And because it runs on batteries there are no dangerous cords hanging anywhere. It's awesome!

I got this for my 6 year old as a birthday present. He loves it and turns it on every night. We've only had it for a couple of weeks so I can only hope that it keeps working and doesn't run out of batteries soon.

We bought this three years ago for our son for Christmas. Other reviewers have noted that it eats batteries. Well, that's not the only problem. Eventually the bulb(s) burn out and they are LED bulbs - they can't be replaced. I wrote Uncle Milton and they DO NOT do repairs. So, into the garbage the plastic hulk went. Not very environmentally friendly design. Lame.
