Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Automoblox allows children to experience beneficial play with activities that provide limitless joy, imagination, and creativity. We do this by offering a high-quality building system that will delight and inspire children while fostering the development of important skills and learning foundations. Inspired by the compact cars popular in Europe and Japan, the A9 may be the smallest car in the line-up but it is certainly big on style. Featuring smaller three-spoke wheels, low-profile tires and a generous roofline with plenty of headroom, your child is sure to get great mileage from this little gem.

5 out of 5 stars Great for developing gross and fine motor skills, and creativity   November 23, 2007

This is an exceptional toy, that combines the gross motor skill training of block, the fine motor skills training of fitting pieces together in the correct manner, and the creativity of learning how to use different pieces to make unique creations.

It's solid wood, good quality, and well-packaged. The vehicles are made in the USA, although the wood is German beech wood.

The price is a bit high, but this isn't a "mass market" toy, this is a toy that seems like it could be passed down to your kid's children. Obviously, you can tell I was very happy with the toy.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Product   September 30, 2007

My parents bought these for our two boys when they were 4 and 18 mos (now almost 6 and 3), and they still pull them out and play with them for hours. They are easy for my younger son to pull apart and put together and you can buy two or more and mix and match all the parts and people to create new, cool vehicles. My younger son, in particular, practiced taking his apart and putting it together over and over again (great fine motor skill development). They really roll smoothly on the floor, are smooth, sleek and "cool" looking - even adults are drawn to them. They're extremely well made; the caliber of toy that can become an heirloom that our boys will pass down to other kids.
