Product Description Cranium Family Fun gives families the best way to play together as a team in an unforgettably fun game that gives everyone a chance to shine. Packed with 16 hilarious activities, Cranium Family Fun gets you building, flipping, sketching, sculpting, guessing and laughing out loud together every time you play!
Editorial Review The original highly successful Cranium game is a great way for adults and older children to face off in entertaining challenges. Later games using a similar model were greatly simplified and geared more toward younger players. But with this new family model, everyone can play together. It still employs the same four basic Cranium categories: Creative Cat, Data Head, Star Performer, and Word Worm but within those groupings there are numerous new challenges for players of all ages. Like the traditional game, there is squishable clay for sculpture challenges but now there are also stacking cubes and a set of plastic frogs that players are occasionally called upon to flip. The game board is scaled back a bit, offering a short length of the game. We found the questions and pacing to be brisk and while younger players (age 8 and over, kids younger than that would be fine playing with an older teammate) would be able to have fun, it's one of those rare family games that adults can actually enjoy playing. --Charlie Williams

Cranium Family Edition vs. Cranium Family Fun April 2, 2009 Sharman L. Beltran (New Orleans, LA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Hi,
just wanted to let everyone know that this game is the same game as the game formerly named "Cranium Family Fun", except the older version included "fun flipper frogs" and this newer edition (the Cranium Family Edition) does not. On this game's box, it even says "formerly named Cranium Family Fun Game". Just wanted to clear that up!
Fun!!! January 21, 2009 Ros This game was extremely fun for the whole family. My 7 and 10 year old niece were able to play and the whole family had a great time. I highly recommend.
Loved it! January 14, 2009 R. Sapp My family loved this game! We especially enjoyed the variety of activities....each turn was different than the last.
Great family night game January 13, 2009 Orna Wittenberg I was looking for a fun family game for our two kids, 8 and 9 and also one my husband and I won't be bored of. This was a great choice, we had so much fun the time just flew by. The kids also picked it up very quickly and wanted to play with their friends the next day. We decided to take it to our extended family trip over the holiday break and it was a hit. I love that there are different things you need to do and it's not one of those silly board games parents feel obligated to play along, but rather enjoy.
