Educational but not as challenging as I expected August 14, 2009 germantownmom (Katy, TX USA) I bought this for my almost 9 yo son who'll be going into 3rd grade soon. He enjoyed it but finished in 4 days. He is by no means a math whiz and they've only touched on multiplication in school. You know how he finished it... he guessed! I'm not sure how much he learned but he had fun.
Great game November 7, 2008 book crazy (California, USA) My son cant put this game down; I bought it thinking that I will have to save it for a while because he is in 1st grade and doesnt know multiplication or division, how wrong I was. He tried the game and even though he doesnt know all the answers he can play and defeat all the bad guys. By the time he gets to 3rd grade Im sure he will know all his time tables. Im glad I bought it.
Batman Divide and Conquer March 24, 2008 M. McDavid (Torrance, CA United States) My boys love this game. The 3 of them faught over it so much I ended up buying another. My 3rd grader breezes right through the problems, but still enjoys playing. Even my 3 year old likes to play. He doesn't understand, but he tries very hard to get the right answer. He just loves Batman. I bought the game for my 8 year old son when he was first introduced to multiplication in second grade, and it motivated him to learn his tables, so he could conquer the challenges, and validate what he was learning.

Batman is really hard... October 25, 2006 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Batman is a little hard when it comes to the middle of the game.
I sometimes have my parents help me with that part of the game and I still
can't figure it out. I am good at my math skills, but in this part of the game I don't know if I jump, press the B button,or press the A button.
A similar Leapster game is "Second Grade." That game is excellent for
third, fourth, and fifth graders. I prefer playing "Second Grade" instead of
"Batman."
