OK Game. January 11, 2009 D. Decker (Kailua Kona, HI) Hard to control characters. Doesn't teach kids much if they get the characters to do what they want. Very very basic game. Focuses on colors and sizes.
Vsmile The Lion King November 10, 2008 Jennifer C. Shelton (Port Norris, NJ USA) Both of my kids love playing this game. Very encouraging, educational & fun game for your little ones.
Cute but not for a five-year-old July 16, 2007 East Coast Mommy (East Coast USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It is sometimes difficult to tell whether these games will be too easy or too difficult by just following the age on the package. My five-year-old seems to like a few games in the 6-8 age category but there are times when a 6-8 year old game will be a little difficult for him and a game that is meant for younger children will be fun, so I decided to try this game which said three to five years old and it is extremely easy for him so he is bored with it. He just turned five so I thought it might be appropriate.
This would have been great when he was younger but I'm not sure it's suitable for a five-year-old. Especially if they liked to be slightly challenged.
The great thing is, if he was younger this game would be perfect because it has a "no lose" option so your child won't lose no matter what and most likely won't be frustrated.
It's too bad that we can try them out before we buy them and actually see if our specific child can enjoy it or not. I think the companies need to evaluate some of the ages they put on these packages because it seems like a few of them should have a smaller gap in the age range. For instance, 36 months to five years old is a HUGE gap. There is no way that one game can be good for all those ages.
System is kinda lame, But the GAMES R AWESOME July 14, 2007 CharmedCreekGrrl (HB, Ca) I bought the system trying to keep my little one entertained and absorbing all that learning too =) This game was really fun for her, she played it over and over. The system itself isn't very durable. But the games are awesome.
