Age Appropriate fun December 7, 2008 apoem (Bosque Farms, NM USA) This VSmile game is very age appropriate for younger children (ages 2-5). It is easy to figure out how to play and easy to play. It is a great beginner game for young children that need to learn how to hold the stick or control the vsmile. It is a very positive game that quickly became a favorite at our home.
A good starter game June 16, 2008 Diane's Mommy (Cranston, RI) Alot of these v smile games have really crappy graphics, this one's not the best. Out of all the games in this age range, it's not one of her favorites but she does like it and play it regularly. I purchased the v smile for her for Christmas along with about 7 games. My only mistake was to give them all to her at once. As with any 4 year old, who is having their first game system experience, she would play a game for a minute or two and then get discouraged and put in another. I had to take them all away and let her choose one game to play per day. Whichever game she chose for that day was the only one she got no matter how hard she found it. That did the trick, she learned how to play all of them in this manner and now I let her choose as she pleases. These are great games for the age group, like I said this one is good for beginners, she's had it for about 6 months but i'm not sure if she will continue to be interested in it.
Hours of Fun December 23, 2007 Preschooler Mom (San Jose, CA) My 4-year-old son is actually playing this as I type... and we've had the cartridge for awhile now. When he started, he was inexperienced with the V.Smile joystick so he had a learning curve on making Pooh jump. However, it seems he's now mastered that and on to the learning of spelled words which is the beauty of this device---the multiple benefits. This cartridge has good variety and nice scenes so there should be something for everyone.
Good starter game May 17, 2007 R. Moreland (Lexington, KY USA) 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
If you want your kid to be a gamer, this is a good one to start them on.
Fantastic game!!! January 5, 2007 C. Alicea (Maine) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This game is so age appropriate!!! My girls 2 3/4 and 4 1/2 love it!!! It really does help with their learning to work the joystick; another game that does this is the Elmo game. They just love making pooh bear jump; it really makes my 2 3/4 year old laugh!!! A fantastic game for learning to follow directions to accomplish a task. I highly recommend this game!!!!
