Editorial Review Mexican Train is a wonderful all-ages game of skill and strategy for two to eight players. Trains of dominoes spread over the table as each player attempts to avoid being railroaded. The object of the game is to be the first player to play all of his dominos or to play a domino on the Mexican train. Add to your own train, start a new one on the central hub, or play on an opponent's "stalled" train. However, it's almost worth losing this game of Mexican Train just to press the electronic train hub and hear it whistle like a real locomotive! Includes nine train games pieces, decent instructions, and 91 pro-size double-twelve color-dot dominoes--all stored in a convenient train-shaped metal tin. --Deb Oroszlan

The electronic Train Hub toots and chugs when pressed and cleverly holds dominoes in place during game play. Be the first to play all your dominoes or play a domino on the Mexican Train, and you get to press the center domino to hear the Woo Woo locomotive. This game set includes a unique 3d electronic train hub, set of color-dot double 12 dominoes -91 dominoes9 train game pieces. This product comes with the instructions. Its recommended for ages 8 and above. For 2 to 8 players.

Mexican Train Game November 19, 2009 Alice B. O'brien (St Louis) Absolutely loved the game. It can be played by a wide range of ages. Only one problem - the center for the domino is supposed to have a train whistle when depressed and unfortunately my game did not work and I have returned it and am eagerly waiting for its replacement.

Mexican Train is on the right track October 13, 2009 Leonard Wadewitz (Chicago area) I played this with 3 other adults. We all played for the first time and found it enjoyable because you could commiserate and play the game, and be playing a game that wasn't all strategy and all luck. One recommendation is clearer wording for the rules. We are all game players, and agreed that ambiguous rule wording left a lot to "house rules". This did not diminish the game. This is a GREAT game for teaching children to do math in their heads. My wife and I agreed that our children would have loved this game growing up. The quality of the games pieces was good.
Mexican Train Game September 16, 2009 E. Larson (St. Paul, MN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We had gotten together with friends and they wanted to play dominoes. The dominoes we had grown up with were the old black and white dominoes that you had to try and remember how it was played. We had never played before but it was a fun game, a fun break the ice game and very colorful. We ordered the game when we got home and have had so much fun playing it now. It is kind of difficult with 3 people, but with more players it really is fun. The game was a lot cheaper at Amazon.

This is a great game that all can play. The only thing that was wrong with my game was that the train station had a piece of plastic that was broken off. It was a part that should have lit up.
