Product Description Encourage pretend play with this complete 93-piece Supermarket Set. Kids will have everything they need to open up a pretend grocery store. Little grocers can sport a cotton green apron and a nametag while they're working the imaginary checkout line. Have shopper friends load and unload groceries into the yellow basket; then kids can accept "payment" from them and thank them for their service. Set comes with assorted dry-erasable sale signs, coupons, assorted plastic coins, paper play money, pretend credit card and shopping lists. For twice the fun, use this set with the Learning Resources' Deluxe Calculator Cash Register Sets (sold separately). Shopping Basket measures 8" x 10-3/4".

| Customer Reviews: Wish I'd bought two January 23, 2009 Daniel J. Marks While some pieces of this set aren't very durable, my 6 and 3 year olds love it. I wish I'd bought two.
Not just for little ones! January 16, 2009 Dean W. Colley (New York) I originally bought 3 of these for gifts for younger kids, when my 6 year old & 10 year old saw the box, they were disappointed it wasn't for them(despite the clear 3 years + baby like packaging). I ended up giving it to them for the holiday, & they played store for hours!! Pretend play is great for any age & always good for some wholesome play! The money helps with learning as well!!
Fun for pretend play December 30, 2007 A. Southwell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have the Learning Resources cash register, and my 4-year-old daughter loves it! So, we bought this to add to the pretend play. She loves to "open" and "close" the store with the sign as well as play with all the other signs, the "sale" especially. Apron is cute, too, and nice that you can personalize it. Boxes of food that it comes with won't last very long as they are just thin cardboard. We tried to reinforce by taping-we'll see how that goes. Overall good toy to coordinate with the cash register.
Playing Store January 20, 2007 Waltraud Box 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
This was a Christmas gift to my 7 year old granddaughter to go along with a cash register. It is a nice complement to play store. It would be nice if it were to include a few more pieces of fruit, vegetables, potatoes and other items to sell.
