Editorial Review How's your tolerance for puns? You'll need some for Pass the Pigs, a simple game of chance built around a pig theme. Instead of dice, you roll two cute pink piglets, and you gain or lose points depending on how the critters land. For example, if both land on all fours, called a "double trotter," you get 20 points; if they land lying opposite each other, called a "Pig Out," you gain no points and cede your turn. There are a number of other rules as well as a variation called "Hog Call." This would be a good travel game (the pigs, instructions, and scoring pad fit in a small, tidy box) or a fine present for someone who's, well, into pigs! --Elisa Murray
Product Description For 2 or more players Go hog wild with the pig-tastic game, Pass the Pigs. Players attempt to rack up points by rolling the pig dice - but if they're not careful they might 'Pig Out' and lose all their points. Pass the Pigs is the sizzlin' fun, shakin' bacon game!

Great family game. February 9, 2010 N. Bingenheimer (Oakland, TN) This game is really for any age group. It is simple and fun. I had it growing up and I bought this one for my wife and I to play. We have a great time with this game.
Great family February 6, 2010 paula (Ft Lauderdale, FL USA) Friends introduced us to this game on vacation. It's great for adults and kids, equally. The rules are simple so people can play it for the first time and pick it up in minutes. We always end up laughing the whole way through.
Pass On Pass The Pigs! February 1, 2010 Me the People (FLA) This game had good reviews and my granddaughter likes pigs so I purchased. However, I think the product is too small. When you "roll" the pig die, they land in various positions that really all looked the same to us and were difficult to compare to the various pictures in the instruction which you are to compare to and determine what type of "roll" you made. The score pad is so tiny ther is no way my handwriting or a kids handwriting will fit in the boxes. We truly could not play this game. The price was way too much for this flimsy set. I do not recommend. Sorry.
Don't pass on the pigs January 30, 2010 shop4gifts (Texas) Great little game that the kids can pull out and play any where.
My son can easily get his dad to play several rounds of Pass the Pigs, because it requires only a small flat surface to play and that means daddy doesn't even have to sit up, much less get out of his recliner!
They are math nuts, as well, and this game is fast enough to keep them adding mentally. I am a teacher, and would use them in my classroom. Good for all ages, intermediate grade levels and up.
Fun game for the kid in all of us January 30, 2010 Happily pregnant (Connecticut) I purchased this for my 10 and 11 year old cousins. I have fond memories of playing pass the pigs with friends during free periods in high school. Good clean fun!
