Editorial Reviews:
Editorial Review Peep-peep! Here comes Percy the little steam engine from the ever-popular Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends book series and television's Shining Time Station (based on The Railway Series by Reverend W. Awdry). With its rounded corners and larger features, this chunky-styled Percy is designed for little hands. Made of lightweight plastic and sporting rubber-trimmed tires, Percy, the youngest and most eager engine in the station, heads off down the tracks with his traditional three-dimensional smiling face. A rear coupling prong allows Percy to pull freight and passenger cars of his same chunky style. The 4.5-inch-by-2.5-inch engine has an axle width of 1.75 inches and fits plastic tracks designed for the My First Thomas train series. This toy does not fit the standard 1.5-inch wooden tracks. --Kathryn Gustafson

smh October 13, 2009 A. Watson (hawthorne,ca) I bought this toy for my son.I was extremely disappointed fromt the moment I saw it.It was way smaller than I thought, and the price is ridicolous for this little truck.my son doesn't even play with it.
Great train item! February 18, 2009 Luckys Toy Store All wooden thomas train items are great. They also are great for resale value after they are done playing with them. Some of the trains are worth more than we first paid for them. It looks like the longer you have them the more they are worth if they are in still good condition.
My Grandson loves it! January 14, 2009 Marilyn Heckmann (Austin, TX) My grandson carries this little train with him everywhere. It appears to be durable and just the right size for little ones.
trains are great December 28, 2008 Mist Mist (ontario) My son is 21 months and loves all things trains and all things Thomas. Percy is the best Thomas engine for mobility -- since it only has TWO sets of wheels, it goes around curves better. The bigger bulkier trains (ie Gordon etc) de-rail if you let them loose down hills and they have to make a sharp turn. Percy is smaller but his compactness makes him a much more agile train and he does hills and curves much better without the derailing. Not that my little guy notices or cares, but if you have to pick one Thomas train to get, I recommend Percy. Then save your money and buy the non-character trains which are just as good (and the less bulky and the smaller they are, the better they ride anyway!)
Excellent! October 21, 2008 Michelle J. Carney (USA) My son loves anything Thomas and this does not disappoint. Great addition to our collection.
