Not activities - worksheets January 30, 2009 Katha O. Fields (Houston, Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this book because it said "activities" in the titile. These are worksheets. Nice worksheets but still worksheets. Activities are hands-on, creative, problem solving. Not paper and pencil.
Best math supplement I've seen December 21, 2007 high school math teacher 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have been a high school math teacher for a few years now, and this is the book that I constantly go back to. There is a reasonable number of problems per page so the students feel that it is "doable." There is also a great mix of easy and challlenging problems, as well as fun puzzles to get the kids motivated. I always give this book as a present to student teachers and they love it!
Math Teacher Help December 11, 2007 Bill Z (MA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Gave this to a friend who just landed a job as a permanent substitute teacher of 9th & 10th grade math. It has saved many a day and been a big help on those days when things don't go as planned.
A real time saver, easy to use.

This is a great resource to introduce or reinforce math concepts. Well organized and age appropiate tasks.
Cleaver and Helpful July 8, 2005 Paul Kelley (Kauai, HI USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
The book is organized very well and is extremely useful. The activities range from explanatory to challenging depending on the students level. It is a must for anyone forced to use a boring textbook such as the Saxon Series. It helps to keep the students challenged and interested.
