Very dissatisfied! April 19, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I was very disappointed with this program. I had been hoping it would have been as good as there A+ middle school leaning system series, but it was nothing like it. If anything their A+ Middle School Program was loaded with many subjects and lengthy videos to quizzes in the 100ths, and not to mention there were more instruction and quizzes with their little section dealing with math review. (but it was still a little and limited). I would have thought there would have been at least or more information in this type program, which was supposed only deal with math. For example for their high school math it only had 14 questions total for their quiz for the whole high school section, nothing more, and all instructions are short and that's it. I wrote them about this because it's ridiculous. It's not worth spending money on this CD; I wish I had never bought it.
Weak Program November 15, 2005 34 out of 35 found this review helpful
I purchased this program hoping to have a complete math program for my child. What I found was that it had limited capability. For instance, when your child works a problem they are not able to enter it into the worksheet. You can only click and see if your answer is correct. This means that there is absolutely no tracking of your child's success or failure.
Once your child has finished a small set of problems there are no more!! Other programs out there will allow you to regenerate worksheets so that your child will be able to practice their new skills. Who learns math with only 5-15 problems per concept?
I contacted the manufacturer and they were willing to refund my money because I was dissatisfied. Their response was that it is a new program out on the market and still has glitches. You make the decision if "glitches" are worth $40.
