| Customer Reviews: G11's little brother November 14, 2009 Tom James (yakima,wa.) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
well made, buttons feel good, easy to read key's.
pros:
red or blue led
gaming/windows key
headphone/mic jack
USB 2.0 !!
macro key's
media key's
mute buttons for headphone and mic
cons:
purple led ??!!
only one USB
no dimmer switch (only off or on)
smaller buttons
the grey part of the board is plastic (the G11 is a nice looking almost stainless steel)
the G110 logo does not light up like the G11
other thoughts:
allthough the G11 was bigger and took up more keyboard tray space i liked it better, it just felt better and is much better looking, i wish the G11 had USB 2.0 and a headphone/mic jack or i would have just got another, but all and all the G110 is a decent keyboard.
also when i got mine i fliped it upside down to flip out the feet and the LED botton feel out, i just pop'd it back in and it works just fine.
cheap plastic November 10, 2009 Guy Brand (Los Angeles, California, USA) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I use a lot of gaming keyboards, and this one is a bit of a let down.
Pros
1. The macro 12 macro buttons are good and in a great easy to reach place.
Cons
1. Its cheap plastic feeling
2. It does not feel as responsive as other keyboards I use.
3. Can you adjust the brightness like on other keyboards? I can't find a way to.
4. No highlighting of the movement keys.
This one is going back.
solid build, lots of configuration options November 9, 2009 R. Campbell (Grand Rapids, MI) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this keyboard right when it came out. The first thing I noticed was the setup is basically like the G19 without the LCD. The build is solid. It is a fairly thin keyboard, compared to the bulkiness that added by keyboards with video panels.
Pros
- no ghosting in the wasd area or one key beside each
- no ghosting of the arrow keys
- many configurable buttons
- macro capability
- LED backlighting, blue - red and purple tones
- detachable palm rest
- USB and Audio jacks
Cons
- LED backlighting must be blue, red, or colors inbetween... no white.
- Long, might be a few more buttons than I will ever use.
hard to see the keyboard letters etc. November 6, 2009 REPTAA (FLORIDA) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The keyboard seems well make but it sits almost flat and key are flat, so it hard to see the letters etc... My cheap dell key board is easy to see, the back is up high and the keys have a slight forward slant... for that reason i put my new keyboard on the shelf... the keyboard can not see my aion game, only my old games...
