Star Trek

Star Trek: The Next Generation

Star Trek: Voyager

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

Classic Issues Include:

Star Trek: The Mirror Universe Saga [OC Comics. Series 1. #9-16. a.k.a. New Frontiers]
Bearded Spock and the evil Captain Kirk return to the spotlight in an eight-part sequel to "Mirror, Mirror." set directly after Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, in which the Empire sends the alternate James Kirk to lead a fullscale invasion of the Federation's universe. An examination of the Empire's history, a look at the Mirror Kingons and Romulans, and a mindmeld between both Spocks make this the best of OC's line-and the quintessential Star Trek comic of all time.

Star Trek: Debt of Honor [OC Comics. Series 2. original graphic novel]
A long-held secret of the Kingon Empire is revealed as Commander Kor, James Kirk and a Romulan named T'Cel [Kirk's old flame] join forces to stop a malevolent force from devastating the galaxy. This beautifully illustrated graphic novel, featuring the return of numerous characters from the original Star Trek TV series and films, addresses a question Trek fans were desperate to have answered-long before Star Trek: Enterprise provided an official answer, that is namely how old the Klingons develop those head ridges?

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine / The Next Generation [Malibu Comic PC Comics. 4 issue miniseries]
Jean-Luc Picard, Benjamin Sisko and the casts of The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine join forces to investigate the disappearance of several officers through the worm-hole, bringing the crews face to face with Bejoran religious fundamentalists and Cardassian saboteurs. Television studio budgets would never have permitted such a full mingling of casts-but in the comics realm, such crossover events are the stuff Star Trek fans' dream of. This miniseries is the only time two comics companies ever collaborated on a single Star Trek storyline.

Star Trek: Untold Voyages [Marvel's Paramount Comics, 5-issue miniseries]
Following the events of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. James Kirk is assigned to take the new Enterprise on a shakedown cruise-ultimately leading to a second five year mission-in what many have considered to be the best of Marvel's various Star Trek titles. An exploration of Saavik's childhood a visit from Joanna McCoy, the return of Mirl's friend Jahn, a fight with Orion pirates and a meeting with the Grey aliens mark a fascinating period in Trek comics history.

Star Trek: The Gorn Crisis [Wildstorm Comics. original graphic novel]
Captain Picard visits the Gorn homeworld, hoping to gain their assistance in fighting the Dominion. A splinter group bent on conquest, however, stages a coup and seizes control of the Gorn Empire, then attacks a Federation outpost. Tensions mount when the Klingons come to the Federation's defense, and Picard must work hard to find a peaceful solution to the crisis.

Star Trek: Who Killed Captain Kirk? [OC Comics. Series 1. #-4B-55]
A brawl-filled bachelor party, the looming threat of intergalactic war, visits from Finnegan and Garth of Izar, an out-of-body experience for a murdered James Kirk, and a descent into Dante's Inferno come together in a single epic storyline. As OC's first series approaches its conclusion, author Peter David offers one of the most character-oriented tales in Star Trek comics history infusing humor, drama and irony and perfectly illustrating why David is one of Star Trek's most celebrated authors.

5 out of 5 stars Trek Comics collected   October 13, 2009
Bennet Pomerantz (Seabrook, Maryland)

When I was a kid in the 1960, I used to go to Cappy's in Bronx, NY. Now, you must understand , I loved movie comics and I had many other Gold Key and Dell comic TV and movie adaptaions more than I liked Superman and Batman type of comics. I invested in Star Trek number 1. Gawd it was like the holy grail for me.

Now its 44 years later, I have read trek comics for years and suddenly this collection captures all the books I collected over the years.

Many years ago, I wrote an article in Strange New Worlds Magazine about the Trek comics. Here collects all of my past loves in their glory..ads included

You can get the checker Enterpeise logs, The IdW Early Voyages and many of the DC graphic novels..they are all in here and cheaper. The colors sparker. It seems they get the better versions to be put in PDF files.

One of the nice extras is the Peter Pan book and record comics. Even with the Pan gaffs (Mr Sulu was a black man, etc) it is nice to capture lightening in a bottle

One could wish they would do all the Thunderbird comics, Captain Scarlet comics , Dick Tracy strips. Disney Movie comics, The Tintin books and Disney Sunday Movie strips in this format..However, I will enjoy these while I can

5 out of 5 stars For Star Trek comics completists   September 12, 2009
J. Price (Russellville, AR United States)
If you want to own all the Star Trek comics that have been published up to recent years, this collection is helpful and affordable. Comics collecting has made a great step forward with DVD collections because you can get complete runs without the expense of owning the original comics. This collection is great for those who want to start at the #1 issues and read through the DC, Marvel or Gold Key collections. Having just the original hard to get Gold Key issues would make this product worth the price alone, but there is so much more!

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic value for Star Trek fans   June 13, 2009

What a fantastic value! This product gives you several hundred comic books for a very reasonable price. The reproduction value is very good and easily readable on a computer screen.

The storytelling is fun in the various runs from various companies and artists, and the universe of Star Trek is extended in a different way.

There is so much content that you will have to revisit this disk many times. There's no index, but then how could it be indexed?

Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Star Trek Funnies   May 20, 2009

I have only make it a little over have way and find the stories interesting and enteraining. I'm not much for comics but I'm a sucker for anything Star Trek. I would buy this product again, well worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars great collecton! saves looking for tons of back issues   May 19, 2009

I'll keep this short. I remember reading a few issues of the DC series when I was a kid, but really did not want to try and find all the issues from different stores and on-line sources. This is a great reference. The comics are scanned into PDFs, with really good quality. The entire books are scanned, so you get to see all of the great ads and things from years past.

Definitely a great way to read some classic stories, and not spend a ton of cash. Definitely recommended.
