Love this game! September 30, 2009 Kwenon (Maryland USA) It reminded me of the movie CLUE that I saw back in the 1980s. I loved the film but never played the board game. It took a little bit of time to figure out how to play the game, and once I got the swing of using the cards and notepads, I started winning in batches. It is fun and easy going but at times since the characters are so one dimensional, I just wanted to hurry up and get to the next level. But nevertheless, it was fun!
Addicted To Clue! September 6, 2009 C. Walker I first started playing this game through the free online downloads...you know the one with the 60 minutes time limit. Well after those expired I had to buy this game. I love solving mysteries so I searched for the best price and found a good price for it on Amazon. This game is fun and it's a modern version of the original game.
This product is defective. There are glitches when in full screen and also crashes my computer requiring system restores. July 25, 2009 Bixby (American West) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't think that buying a name brand computer game like Hasbro would result in such poor quality programming. The game is fun, but once I tried to restart the computer, I had to do a system restore, 2x. There were other glitches requiring only playing in minimized screen.
I think there should be a rating system for cd roms, like on USDA beef, so consumers aren't tricked into buying inferior products on the strength of obsolete brand names.
Great Game for Grandma too! July 7, 2009 Victoria Werner (Fairfield, Ohio USA) I ordered the game Clue for my grandchildren to play when they come to visit. I discovered that I still love to play it as much as I did the board version many years ago, only now I don't have to wait to get enough folks to play it with because the computer provides characters to play with. It's great fun to play all by myself and it's great for keeping my grey cells active!
Okay, not fantastic May 5, 2009 LH422 (Washington, USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
The title of this review pretty much says it all. This is a perfectly acceptable computer game- fun enough to play, but certainly not addictive. This is the Clue board game put on screen- you move your piece around the board, role dice, make accusations, etc. The drawings in the game (of the characters, rooms, etc.) are excellent, but there's really not much more excitement than the board game offers. Actually, I find it less exciting than the board game because with the board game, you have other people to add to the atmosphere. This is just you and the computer.
