This version of The Sims 2 is a disaster. The software was installed in strange ways that nothing will work. I request a replacement, and I install and uninstall several times and try to follow their web site help suggestions. Nothing worked and wasted my tons of times.
Finally, I borrowed one disc from a friend, she had the same title but the disc was out few months earlier. That works perfect on my computer. So, I returned my original disc and the replacement disc from Amazon, and bought an early version from Target.
I'm happy with the service of Amazon, but I haven't got my money back yet.

I had played the different Sims games on the PS2 gaming consoles, but it is so much more fun on the PC. My favorite part of the game is being able to create places for your sims to visit in their community. There are lots of different upgrades available for your home. I also love the fact that you can purchase different vehicles. This game is very addictive. I played everyday for three weeks straight. Be prepared to get immersed in the stories. The only complaint I have is that there are only two body types available.

I got this item for my sister, but it kept her at bay, so I'm happy with it. Lol, The Sims has been a franchise that just give people a chance to expand their imaginative horizons. I played the first one back then, and was hooked. My life us currently busy, so I don't play Sims anymore. However; my sister needed a hobby that would both help her relax and have fun. That's where the Sims 2 came in. Overall, it's a fun game. It's kind of great having a sister be so excited over a game that she want to show it, "It's Fun !" is all she can say about it.

Well, this was my first Sims game and I like it. If you are a My Sims fan I would say to play this game too. I got this game in 2008, I was very exited and started playing the game as soon got it in the mail. I was amazed with funny language that the Sims use. I had seen a review that said it had problems. For me it did not. I am now a Sims fan and want to buy Apartment Life. So, now lets talk about the game.
1. When you make a Sim you can choose his likes and dislikes. You can also choose his skin color, head shape, hair and more.
2.You can build a house in the game like in My Sims but now you can make a 3 floor house.
3. The play of the game is fun. It's way funny. It's social, you get to meet characters, go on a date, and have a family.
Well that is three thing's about the game. Look at other review's too.
