Still the best Gaming Magazine around! November 14, 2009 Shilom (MI) I remember reading Nintendo Power when I was a kid (back not long after the NES had first come out), and now my son reads it. Still a family fun magazine for gamers of all ages, it beats the competition out. I love NP and all its tidbits, even if it is only for Wii/DS games. They are still my favorite after all.

Nintendo news...what else did you expect? October 30, 2009 Darkon (San Diego) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Each month you get news of what the future holds for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Some interesting articles and interviews along with some strategy tips once in a while (maybe not as much as in the past). The magazine has undergone some changes over the years, but it is a good magazine to get if you are thirsting for news and info on future games. Hopefully you can get it for a good discount (like I did).
Best Source for Upcoming DS and Wii Games October 20, 2009 Dale Ann Negen (So Cal) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I depend heavily on this magazine to really know what I'm getting when I buy a game. The reviewers on Amazon (where I usually buy) can be very helpful too. But sometimes there are no reviews or they are written so that I can't get all the info I need to discern whether I will like a game or not.If you are just getting started collecting games, the gamer lingo can be a little overwhelming, but the editors respond well to online questions, and you will pick up the language faster by reading more than just online reviews. I find, like most purchases for pleasure that the anticipation is half the fun. Nintendo Power is always reviewing way ahead of when games are actually released, giving me plenty of time to enjoy looking forward to getting a new game. I also found (as a teacher and Mom) that boys would actually read this magazine, or at least the articles about games they were interested in, even those who basically never read for pleasure.
Why am I so late to the game?!!! September 12, 2009 lisatsunami (Los Angeles) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just got my first 2 issues at once of Nintendo Power, which I got through an Amazon promotion. My first 60 seconds of perusal made me mad at myself for not getting this sooner. Gorgeous magazine. I just became a gamer about a year ago and I have so much to catch up on. Informative and interesting articles for a Nintendo fan. Usually I read and toss magazine in just a few minutes but I may just start my own library now.
