| Customer Reviews: 3 stars for I Spy Treasure Hunt... January 16, 2010 tyger88 (AR) I Spy is pretty much the only disc that my 8 yr old daughter is interested in playing out of this set. I was disappointed that the Jumpstart Language disc is all about Spanish. I had the idea it was going to be English. I didn't look close enough at the photo, I guess. The Geography disc is so strangely complicated that she has given up on it, though it looks like it could have the potential to be interesting. It's really more like a driving simulation than a geography lesson. You have to drive a vehicle around, following a map and watching a dashboard. This really frustrates my 8 yr old who does NOT drive yet...what were they thinking? The math program would only show up in a tiny screen and appeared very boring. The sports they show are brief introductions about the "mathletes" sandwiched between math problems you are supposed to solve. I did not see an actual sport-type "game" to play to keep kids interested at all. But the I Spy game...my daughter will play for hours on end. She has even changed names so she can start over from the beginning. So I guess this purchase was worth it just to find one learning game she will actually use. I have Windows XP on a desktop PC and we have no trouble with freezing-up from any of these games.
brain play scam December 26, 2009 Steve (lehigh valley pa.) I purchased " Brain Play" (2nd edition) as a Christmas present for my daughter. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! they dress up the

Description does not fit product July 17, 2008 L. Brovick (Wisconsin) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
The Amazon description describes the 1st edition-not the 2nd. There is no roller blading typing. Math Missions with its arcade math game has been replaced with a sports game. The Magic School Bus space exploration also is not in this software. I called Amazon on 7/10/08 to report the problem after I received my order. On 8/21/08 it still has not been corrected.
