Bad Design and Usability November 2, 2009 Zizawah (Reston, VA United States) Content is OK but the inability to interact with ANYTHING while animation and introductions are being played make this product a failure. A child will have to learn patience to use this software as it will require sitting through repeated/boring introductions before being able to play or interact.
If you are interested in a game for a toddler (~2-3 yrs old), try Dr. Seuss's ABC. It's the perfect example of how to design GREAT software for kids.
Good program for little kids January 25, 2009 E's Mom (Austin, TX) I bought this for my two and a half year old for christmas because he loves Elmo. The graphics aren't great, but most two year olds don't really mind. He loves the game and is learning from it, so I'm happy with it.
Not for a child who really knows the computer December 29, 2008 Evelyn Coleman (Atlanta, GA USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this for our grandson who had just turned three years old. He has been playing computer games since he turned two, including use of the mouse.... this game did not hold his attention at all. He immediately asked to go to Fisher Price or other sites he's used. I was very disappointed in the level and skills. Maybe if a child has no experience on a computer this will be a good game but for an "old timer" too simple.
Simple but works July 19, 2008 Kevin Jensen I bought this for my nearly 4 year old. A lot of it is too simple for her, but it's been good mouse practice and she has enjoyed it and gotten some good number and letter review. It has occasional glitches, but restarting it is easy enough.
Nice idea, very poorly done November 16, 2007 Jane Doe (Oregon) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this software for my 4 yr old son. He was mildly amused and some parts of it were fun, but he also encountered some frustrating problems with the software. The game runs full-screen, but with a big black border around it, and the mouse cursor frequently gets lost (hidden) in the black border so you can't find it. Also, the mouse disappears whenever any animation or audio playback is occurring. These issues make using the software very cumbersome, especially for kids.
I do not recommend this software, unless you really can't find anything better.
