 No difference between this and previous versions. November 21, 2009

Reviewers of subsequent versions prefer THIS version to what came after, apparently things are going downhill. I am the owner of a 2005 version and see no difference whatsoever between this and the 2005. The only reason I got it is because this one does run in Vista 64-bit and the earlier one did not.
The games are exactly the same (which is not too bad); the options for spacemaker, facemaker, and point rewards are exactly the same; the instructions and help for the games is exactly the same (which means, some games have mediocre instructions/help and other games have none.)
Another difference is that, now that I have a much larger monitor with much higher resolution I am having difficulty finding a comfortable way to play: my options are either "full screen" which takes over the monitor, stretches the interface to the point of distortion, and results in a fuzzier (less sharp) interface OR "reduced" which, while sharp, is only to one pre-determined size which is too small. There is no way to pull the window to enlarge it to some sort of middle ground.
Oh, and this version also runs on Mac.

I love this software. I haven't gotten beyond four games, which I'm enjoying very much. I look forward to playing all of the games included, which are too many to list, but I'll give you a few: Backgammon, Battling Ships, Bump 'em, Checkers, Chinese Checkers, Chess, Dominoes, Crazy Contraptions, Tile Games (4 types) Master Match, Maximum Pool, Maze Racer, Maze Raider, Pachisi, Panic, Play Racer, Reversi, Solitaire (several types), and more. I haven't had any problems with this software and installing it was simple. It is like all game software whereas it chooses one player as the winner before you start, but that's just the way these programs are written. I love it and don't play anything else now.

Has all the games I was looking for and them some. Only problem I've encountered is moving the "men" in the Parchisi game. Sometimes it takes quite an effort and some patience.

I enjoyed these games when they were available in Mac OS 9 and was unhappy when the product wasn't upgraded, until now. It's good to have the old friend back, now much enhanced.

I have been buying books from amazon.com for more than 10 years and I had never had any problem so far. Despite the long time taken for the books to arrive in some occasions, because of the poor service of my country post office, they always arrived. But, this time, with an item not sold directly by amazon I never received it. Nothingbutsoftware even sent me an email saying that the product had been delivered but it was not true. The same happened with Galactic, although they never sent an email saying that the product had been delivered. Amazon.com reimbursed the money, but I could not get the product and now I do not know where to buy it from. I RECOMMEND NOT TO BUY FROM EITHER GALACTIC OR NOTHINGBUTSOFTWARE.
