I recently purchased the Honestech software titled:
"Claymation Studio" (version 1.0.4.0), and I received
my product on November 10, 2009 .... I installed the
software, and I went online to retrieve my Registration Key,
and I launched this program in my computer and created
some simple and basic mini-motion video clips, but it
was a pain, because this software had terrible, terrible
instructions! I basically learned on my very own, through
trial and error, by practicing and experimenting on my
own with this Claymation Studio software.
I'd give it an
F++ or a D-- on the lack of instructions, cuz it basically had ....
''NO INSTRUCTIONS!!''
Yep.
Indeed, the instructions that came with this software,
were basically .... useless!!

Disappointed in the general lack of instructions on how to use the software. There is a PDF file that describes the general functions of the keys, but there is absolutely no kind of how to guide or demo with step by step instructions on how to create a stop motion film. Had to go to You Tube to get simple instructions on how to use the product.

this program is a great value -- perfect for your first stop motion software. you can always 'trade up' to a more pricey / higher functionality software down the road, but this is the place to start.

I was wanting to learn a little about animation. From the info on the Claymation Studio I thought this might be a nice alternative. It says you can create characters using a digital camera, webcam etc. but I could not figure out how to use the program, add the images with my digital camera or anything else associated with the program. I tried going on the Honestech website and still could not find any user instructions. This is the first time that I have bought something on Amazon.com that is absolutely useless to me.
