excellent deal September 23, 2009 B. Malte (Chicago, IL USA) the game was a treat especially if your niece is the own enjoying because you know it was worthwhile buying it afterall. The seller responded quickly to any questions I had and was very accomodating.
Annoying! September 22, 2009 J. Heng (Los Angeles, California, United States) Pets are cute at first. Kittens and puppies eventually grow into cats and dogs. However, the pets are annoying and scratch up your furniture. You can buy a bird cage, but if you don't feed it, the bird eventually dies. Dogs and cats can be bred and have litters, but they take three Sim days to do so (if there's a hack to speed that up, I couldn't find it). Dogs and cats come out at night and dig up holes in your front lawn and scare off other pets. Adds a lot of modern furniture.
Not worth it! My Sims could of lived perfectly fine without pets. After you install this expansion, they only want to buy and train pets. I wish I hadn't wasted my time.
Great game!! Its quite enjoyable!! September 11, 2009 C. Tessler (Elgin, IL) I finally got the game yesterday delievered by UPS, installed it into my computer and overall i must say this is the best Sims 2 game i ve ever played before (along with the orignal sims games as well & the sims 2.) I spent hours playing it and i love it so much i had to take a break from it along with giving my computer a break as well but i can say I did enjoy this game very much!! I also must say that i was quite skeptic at first about ordering computer games from amazom; i was considering of going to Best Buy to get the game but when i heard what they wanted for the game and i got on here to check the price i decided not to go and spend $40-$50 bucks on a computer game from Best buy i got it from here and now that I see the truth i ll be ordering more computer games from here for quite some time along with other things as well. I highly reccommend this game to anyone who loves playing the sims originals or the sims 2. Its a must have & must play without a single doubt!!
Makes things too complicated August 24, 2009 S. M. Jefferies (Tampa, FL United States) Everyone should have a pet, even the sims, but this expansion will give your sims more problems to deal with than just housebreaking a puppy. You will have a constant parade of strays digging up the yard, pooping on the lawn and eating your own pet's food. If you greet a stray, they will come inside your house and tear up the furniture. If your sim scolds them, the stray will have a bad relationship with your sim. There are dozens of strays to deal with and if your sim adopts one, then a new stray is generated to take it's place. Another headache is that pets can run away, especially if they're a doofus or coward. So that adorable pet your sim spent all that time training could be gone in a flash. On a positive note though, the graphics and pet mannerisms are outstanding. Their coats and features look incredibly real, and they act like real cats and dogs.
