| Customer Reviews: so far....well November 17, 2009 Julio Caicedo (Panama) I really had high spectations on this software. I have to be honest it really does what it's advertised to do.
Yep, it will help you think of new ideas and new perspectives that you might have not thought of...but...well I guess I had a different idea on my mind of what it was.
My recomendation, try it first....It's a cool software but not for me, call me old school.
cheers!!!
Gets Your Story Moving... June 24, 2009 G. Wilson 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I really really REALLY like this software, it really gets me writing. I don't necessarily use the exact or similar stream of ideas, but a combination stream will hold an idea I had and give it some variable directions to go in. It's just fun and adds different perspectives to your work so you're getting input to make your characters and scenes more 3-D.
Great tool for writers May 8, 2009 Georgia - 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
This software provides you a large library of different situations which can be personalized with your character names. You can play with different kind of styles, situations or ideas. It is easy to use.
Awesome tool for writers! March 14, 2007 L. Boudreau 30 out of 30 found this review helpful
First of all, everyone should know that this software will NOT write your story for you. Rather, it provides a vast library of different possibilities ("conflict situations") which can be personalized with your character names. This is a great tool for exploring new ideas - for an individual scene - and for an overall theme. It also helps in the discovery of character motivations and nuances. This program is fun to use and is a reliable cure for writer's block.
Storybase Saved My Story February 3, 2005 Penny Greenestone (California) 47 out of 52 found this review helpful
I was struggling with a transitional scene in my novel and getting frustrated by my inability to come up with something fresh...my brother had given me Storybase for Christmas, so I decided to give it a try... I entered my story and character info and Storybase spit out a bunch of really cool ideas...some I would have never thought of even with a hundred hours of thinking...I found one that was just right for this moment in my story and was able to finally finish the chapter and in doing so gave me a terrific way to start the next scene...I'm now a big fan of Storybase and recommend it to all my writer friends.
