5 out of 5 stars A puzzle gamer's dream with beautiful scenery and music to match.   June 5, 2009
Thomas Trujillo (Portland, OR USA)
I've played my fair share of puzzle games. And Bejeweled 2 Deluxe has proven to be a 1st rate game for me.
There are three diffrenent modes in this game:
The object of the original game mode game to take rows and rows of various jewels and match them up in sets of 3, 4, and 5. Where it becomes complex is when you sucessfully connect four jewels together you get a gem that when matched up will explode and take all other gems in its immeadiate vicinity with it. When you match up 5 gems you get a space warp which essentially takes any gem you've clicked with the mouse and destroys it along with every gem like it on the board. This either add up to all sorts of nifty oppurtunities or end your game, you never quite know. And that's the brilliance of this game. Also if you happen to get stuck on a certain portion of the game then you can either press the help button or wait for the help arrow to show up and point to a clue to help you. A word of warning: Pressing the help button will cost you some points.
For the more high-strung players who like a challenge, there's a timer mode where you have to match up the gems as quickly as possible before your time and points run out.
The other mode in this game is the puzzle mode where you solve a series of fantastic puzzles devised by the alien being running this crazy game.
Add to that the exotic alien landscapes that look like something from the cover of a 1st rate sci-fi novel and killer music that you can play on your CD player if you're in the mood to listen and you've got an incredible deal.
That's why I strongly recommend Bejeweled 2 for the PC or PC MAC. This is a great intellectually stimulating game that'll have you seeing gem puzzles in your sleep.

5 out of 5 stars Totally addicted   January 17, 2009

I played a free session before I bought the game and enjoyed it. Didn't expect to get addicted to the game. I have always enjoyed all sorts of puzzles like logic problems and sudoku so this was right up my alley. The first few levels are easy and serve well to get you warmed up. It gets harder with each galaxy you warp to and that is where I got sucked in. Spend hours playing the first night and most of the next day. I'm a 'type A' and have to win. When I got to work the next day I kept seeing sets of three and expecting them to blow up. A little weird but a little funny...If you are looking for a fast paced game with instant satisfaction then this is the game for you.

Amazon was a pleasure to deal with...

4 out of 5 stars Fun way to kill time   October 11, 2008
Eric Beerwald (Branford. CT)
This is just a fun way to spend an hour or two while waiting for something or someone to call, come over, or while waiting for yor favorite TV show to come on. For those with a really competitive nature you can cetainly get into this game and see how high a score you can get. The price is reasonable and the games (there are several different ways to play)are fun. what more could you ask for?
