3 out of 5 stars Fun concept, but a little too boring.   June 25, 2009
L. Perry (Nashville, TN USA)
I bought this game on a whim, not knowing anything about it (it was on sale :)). I thought it looked like a really funny concept. The whole "Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys" had me chuckling. After playing it, however, it just isn't complex enough for my tastes. The graphics are good, the zombie characters are "cute", and the storyline is interesting enough, but the gameplay itself is just way too repetitive and uninteresting to keep me playing for longer than a few minutes at a time. I actually really wanted to love this game, so I'm a tad disappointed in the gameplay. Plus, having to change zombies every 30 seconds gets a little old. I would have like it more if it were a bit more like, say, Yoshi's Island where you switch characters once or twice per level.

I still give it 3 stars just because the idea and storyline are fun. I just wish the creators had given the game a bit more diversity with the gameplay itself.

3 out of 5 stars Lost Vikings Clone?   June 18, 2009

Anybody who has ever played a Lost Vikings game back in the day will be familiar with this game...

It's the same concept, same mechanics..you have three zombies, and you have to use each one for their unique special abilities in order to get through the levels, which are pretty much giant mazes/puzzles.

The graphics are nice for DS, and look like a comic book. There's voice overs too for intros and cut scenes.

The game is fun if you like the Lost Viking style of gaming, but with that said it's a short game, and not worth full price.

Buy it for 10 bucks or so where available, but dont pay more than that.

4 out of 5 stars old school style   May 22, 2009

old school style 2-d side scrolling. the game is fun and hilarious. but it is simple and possibly too easy, if you are looking for a challenge.

5 out of 5 stars Zombies are the heroes and I love it.   April 22, 2009

I love this game. You don't have to be lighting fast to play it and you get unlimited lives. Each time you fail on a level, you get to start that level over. I would recomend it. 5 stars from me

The concept of the game is cute, and the graphics are all right, but it definitly reminds me of an earlier gaming era. It's fun enough but not a favorite.
