BUY IT if you did not May 30, 2009 Xhunter RUS (dk) The game is just SUPERB. 1 minus in it is: it was quiet short for me. But i loved it.
starwars republic commando February 5, 2009 spacesam like the way it plays and the plot no runing arounding like mad men and the aiming of wapons not to the left or the right on some games.
We need more. December 18, 2007 D. Bracht Good game, good graphics for its age, fun gameplay....Not enough missions and levels. This game could almost be played in one sitting. Hopefully sometime soon in the future, we will see a sequel, especially with the the books that are in print about these characters and this time frame. Well worth the buy, just expect to be left wanting more.
One of the best Star Wars games ever created September 21, 2007 Spendsters (Pennsylvania) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I originally held off in getting this game due to lack of knowledge. Now I am glad I bought it. This is easily one of the best Star Wars games to date. It is one of my favorite games, right up there with Deus Ex and Half-Life. The graphics are pretty good, and the AI is pretty smart too. The enemies actually hide behind things instead of running towards you like some kamikaze with guns blazing. The members of the team you control are fairly intelligent as well, and they usually will do their portion of a task without you having to tell them, especially when you are separated. I did run into a situation a few times where one of my squad members would, for some unknown reason, stand somewhere and not follow me even though I ordered him to follow. But this was rare and was rectified by backtracking and making sure he followed me the second time around.
I ran this game with no problems on a P4 3.07ghz, Geforce FX5500 video card, and 1.5gb RAM. It never froze up, lurched, or suffered from lag. That is rare for an intensive FPS game such as this. Overall, I am very impressed with this game and would recommend it to anybody who likes Star Wars, FPS games, and/or squad based games.

This game is sweet! It's like Halo and Rainbow 6 put together. I had a lot of fun playing through it. It only has three missions, so the game seems short, but they're long missions with a lot of levels in them. It would be sweet if another came out, but it have to hold up to the same play, maybe make it as fast and have as many levels as battlefront.
