Everyone loves Clifford August 14, 2009 Samantha 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This disk is a good start for early readers for one syllable words. My grandkids could do it on their own by the time they were 4, but we still had fun with it. It wasn't their favorite disk. They prefer Reader Rabbit and so do I. Clifford still has some value though and is an easy disk to use.

It is an excellent tool to help engage your kids in thinking and learning creatively.
Great educational CD-rom June 2, 2008 SavvyChris (Draper, UT USA) My son loves these CD-roms. He is almost 5 and plays them a lot. He is learning quite a bit. Plus, there are 3 different levels, so as he gets better, he gets more challenged. I'm impressed with this.
My son is learning to read with this. He is recognizing words that he hasn't known before. I feel very good about letting him play this.
Do not use on Mac OS X August 25, 2007 Father of daughters (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The game works fine on our Windows machine. It keeps my 4 year old interested. But the game does not run well in the "Classic" mode when using OS 10.3 (panther).
Mac users, beware May 25, 2007 Read 'n Write (NC) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
This may be a fine product, but I will never know. Don't buy the product if you hope to use it on a PowerPC Mac running OS 10.4 and OS 9.2. While the system requirements for the CD state that the CD works with any Mac OS after 7.X it does not appear to be possible to even install it on a modern Apple computer. (Caveat: This may run on an Intel Mac with Bootcamp, but I haven't tested it in that operating environment.)
I am not a software engineer, but I am a sophisticated user of Apple computers. My guess is that if I cannot install this program on my system, your average Apple computer user will not be able to either. Just a world to the wise in the we-don't-support-mac software wars.
