i found some elements of this game good, and some bad. i was impressed by the weapons selection (the knife was awesome) and the graphics, but the overall game play was kinda rotten.
pros:
great graphics
awesome weapons
good storyline
cool death animations
cons:
horrible melee combat
'sluggish' gameplay
hard controls
overall, i would not recommend this game, as there are many better games out there.

Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix won't break any boundaries in storyline, creativity, etc., but what it does succeed in is making the most gloriously fun shoot-em-up FPS experience that you can play, in the same vein of the original Soldier of Fortune but about 1000 times better. The graphics are improved, the realism is improved, and the fun factor is improved. Get it!

This is old game but you can't beat it, we play multiplayer here in Iraq and with 8 people playing it's grate. It's worth every penny spent to us.

This game will play well on older systems, in case you have one. Action is sterotypical, but so are many FPS's. Not that bad, but newer games have better graphics.

sof 2 is a great game but to get the most of it, you need a modern card like Radeon or Nvidia
