I was very disappointed with my purchase. I love the scrabble game, but the CD disk I previously purchased (not from Amazon) was not compatible with my Mac laptop. I therefore ordered a CD from Amazon which claimed to be Mac compatible, but lo and behold it does not work on my laptop, but it does work on my Windows desktop. I was really looking forward to it especially for when I'm traveling.

I was so happy to find this older version of Scrabble. I had purchased Scrabble Complete and did not find it satisfactory at all. The board was not as large and was much harder to see. I do not like the fact that obsolete, foreign, and other unlikely words are accepted. I would like an option that allows me to omit these words from the game and just use words in common usage. The game can be fun, but things like this make it frustrating!

I purchased this game for my Mac, however when it arrived...it wouldn't load because it's an old version and it isn't supported any longer. When I called Hasbro to see if there were downloadable updates, I was informed that this game is out of their system and it is no longer supported. This isn't just for Macs, it's for ALL computers. This bums me out since I love playing this game.

I started playing "SCRABBLE" board game with my Mom way back in the mid-50's. But, now, I can play any time I want, which means even in the wee hours of the morning. I love the format, and all the options.I especially enjoy being able to select the level of competion, depending on my state of mind at that particular time. Sometimes I enjoy a real challenge, and other times, I like to be sure I am a winner!! If you like word games, you definitely should have "SCRABBLE". It is one you will thoroughly enjoy.

This is an old version of scrabble. The graphics aren't great and it isn't easy to access definitions and hints. The scrabble player's use of words in expert are so uncommon, they make for an uninteresting game.
