I got this for my 11yo who struggles a bit in math, thinking it would be a "fun way to learn". She is not impressed.
Rename this game "BLASTER" August 21, 2009 Samiam (The great midwest) 20 out of 21 found this review helpful
If you are looking for a DS game that actually challenges the kid to do more than one math problem in a minute, then this is NOT THE GAME you want. They threw in the name MATH to make it sound educational, but it is game trying to pass itself off as a learning tool. If you are looking for a game, then you won't be disappointed with this. If you are looking for an educational tool to help your kids learn math, this is NOT going to help them much!
Great value game June 16, 2009 CJ (New Zealand) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
This is the first Maths game that my son hasn't finished within a week. It has heaps of levels to keep him going. He says it's fun -- we got it coz he loved the CD-ROM version before. This he says is similar. He was almost disappointed when he had been playing it off and on for a weekend and had 'only' got to level three. I thought 'great! - this game will last a few months, this time!'. And it has. And he's still not finished. So good on them for packing in lots of difficulty levels.
