Amazon.com Review
There is trouble in Townsville. Mojo Jojo has devised a terrible plan: he has successfully created robot clones of himself that contain knowledge from his own brain, and he has sent them into the streets and to the underground in Townsville to destroy the town. The clones, however, are capable of being overthrown. Help the Powerpuff girls capture and defeat the clones using learning power to unlock rewards by completing activities and collecting the clones' memory chips, and ultimately saving Townsville from Mojo Jojo's evil and villainous plans.

By completing the five learning activities, children will develop their math and reading skills, logic and problem-solving abilities, critical thinking and analysis skills, and their ability to follow directions. The CD-ROM is aimed at children ages 6 to 10, which covers a large range of abilities. To accommodate this range, five levels of difficulty have been built into the program. Progress is automatically remembered, and can be monitored. There are also printouts available: choose from 25 activities including crossword puzzles, colouring, word searches, and more. On hand throughout the learning and fun is Professor Utonium, who will provide help if necessary.

Let your children participate in Skyscraper Chaser (a high-altitude hopscotch), Letter Bugs (a street-cleaning exercise), and Zap the Map, (an exciting map-reading exercise) so they learn and have fun at the same time. Lively, fun, and modern, this package may appeal to young girls who find more traditional computer games less interesting, and it is a good way to involve them with the PC. --Susan Naylor, Amazon.co.uk

Amazon.com Product Description
Help Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup kick some villain butt--but first they've got to figure out which monkey is the real Mojo Jojo. The very vile Mojo Jojo is at it again, and this time the maniacal monkey's cloned himself over and over. Now menacing minions of Mojo Jojo clones are wreaking havoc throughout Townsville. The Powerpuff Girls need your math, reading, and vocabulary smarts to take out that simpering simian, smash the clones, and save the day before it's too late for Townsville.

Powerpuff Girls: Mojo Jojo's Clone Zone features five fun learning activities that test kids' math, vocabulary, and reading powers, while its five fearless levels of difficulty develop children's thinking powers. Progress reports build confidence, and, should a spot of help be needed, Professor Utonium is always at the ready. Plus, special Powerpuff Girls printouts let kids take Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup with them wherever they go.

5 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Academic!   September 22, 2003

My four-year-old daughter loves the Powerpuff Girls but so far it has just been for entertainment purposes. I assumed this would just teach hand-eye coordination but I was wrong. This has plenty of action and hand-eye coordination fun, and then it also teaches north, south, east, west with map navigation and several other academic chunks as well. She is not yet finished playing it after about three hours so far and she is learning new material. It really teaches her--leaving me time to read a book without too many interruptions.

4 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good   April 7, 2003

I bought this product for my 5-year old daughter who loves the Powerpuff girls. She loved it and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had successfully blended drilling exercises in math and spelling with a truly fun and interactive game. The only drawback to this CD is that it's a bit limited with only 4 games but it is definitely still worth the money and will provide hours of fun for young children.

3 out of 5 stars Not so entertaining   February 3, 2003

My 5-year old doesn't spend the same amount of time on it as she does w/Reader Rabbit, Madeline, or Dr. Seuss. It doesn't offer a lot places to visit...Basically just 4 games and that's it.

Both of my kids love "The Powerpuff Girls: Mojo's Clone Zone". I have a 4 year old boy and a 7 year old girl. It's their favorite computer game.

5 out of 5 stars What a surprise!   November 30, 2002

I thought this was going to be another mindless game, that would only hold my five year old's attention for a few seconds. But, this software has truly engaged my daughter in educational games and held her attention for hours, and has her coming back for more. The key WORD is "Educational". It's not just a game it is a learning tool. So if your child likes the "Power Puff Girls" and your want them to learn, I high suggest this software.
