Darwin's Dilemma is entertaining and highly informative. It gives great scientific support for those of us who know mankind did not evolve from some prebiotic soup. Stephen Meyer is a highly accomplished scientist who explains science in words and pictures even our youngest can understand. A great video that we will view again and again with our children.
A Problem With Evolution November 10, 2009 G. A. Payne (Trenton, MI USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Darwin's Dilemma was the Cambrian explosion of new animals and new animal body designs in a very short window of geological time. There is no evidence of the transitional forms that Darwin's theory requires in this stratum. According to Palentologist Stephen Gould,"The fossil record had caused Darwin more grief than joy. Nothing depressed him more than the Cambrian explosion." Darwin's theory of life forms evolving over time through a multitude of small, undirected steps is still unaffirmed. After 150 years of continuous searching of fossile beds all over planet Earth no transitional life forms have been found. Scientists and scholars answer questions about the Cambrian explosion and the inferred Intelligent Design in this documentary. It is very well designed and produced.

Once again ID proponents start with their conclusion in mind and then look for evidence to support it, ignoring any that doesn't. Fancy graphics + faulty logic + pre-assumed outcome = Fail.
OK but could be better! November 2, 2009 John Smith 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I really liked this video. It was nice. It had very nice graphics. The concepts were fairly easy to understand. But in my opinion it was not as educational as it could have been. And I don't think it was as jammed packed with information as the other videos in this series were. With the hype and the previous videos in this series, I really thought this was going to be great. It is probably enough to get a basic sense of what the issues are. But you will likely still have questions. I think a good book would do a better job. I'm sad to have to give it 3 Stars but it didn't meet my expectations and i re-watched and reaffirmed my views.
Informative and Scientific November 2, 2009 April Neuhaus 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
There are so many emotional reviews on anything that challenges conventional thinking that I hope those who read them will realize what the motivation is behind them. This film presents very compelling evidence that is usually skipped over in earth science classes and digs into the fossil record to see what it actually says, and lets the facts speak for themselves.
