Fun workout! November 11, 2009 K. Faris (New York, NY) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Calorie Blasting Dance was so much fun. I was a cheerleader in high school and forgot how much of a workout it was. The cheerleaders teach the dance at a good pace for the viewers to catch on and then they put it all together at the end. There is also a great ab workout in the bonus features section of the DVD. Overall I thought this was a really fun way to get a great workout!
Booty bustin' dance moves! November 3, 2009 Ruff Ridah 82 "Joshua" (Bayonne, NJ) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
My girl knows I love the CHeerleaders so she's has been practicing these moves and lovin them. The "sexy walk" - woww. She's having fun and getting exercise which is awesome all around.
Calorie Blastting Dance...really?! October 29, 2009 Depo 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
When I saw that the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders had Calorie Blasting Dance video I was thrilled. I'm your averaged sized 27 year old woman who works out about 4-5 days a week and I love a good dance exercise video. I was seriously disappointed. After 15 minutes I turned it off. I hadn't even broken a sweat...and I break a sweat caring laundry up and down my stairs at home. I probably burned more calories getting ready to workout. It was THAT bad. The "dance" moves are not physically challenging. The cheerleaders are annoying. I'm sorry to say it, but I wouldn't recommend this video.
fun dance workout October 20, 2009 w456 (ny) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
The dallas cowboys cheerleaders have finally decided to put out a fitness video.what took so long?Well first you have a intro from the head cheerleader who shows you that instead of marching as you normally do in dance or any workout video you do a march called "sexy walk",which is you marching on your toes,it can get tiresome but you are toning your calves. Then she shows you the time out tap that they normally do which can get a little confusing if you have trouble with the coordination. Then they have the dance break downs from 5 cheerleaders and the moves are really easy they do a good job of slowing down and really intructing you on the moves,The girls seem like fun nice girls you would want to learn dallas cowboy cheerleader moves from. The cons of this workout dvd is that there is no kick line base moves,I mean that is signiture dcc isn't it.Also they give you a dcc sideline dance on the dvd but it's really just the cheerleaders showing off and there's no instruction to do these sideline moves,so your left just staring at the tv thinking gee must be cool to dance like that. There's a bonus section which consits of a ab workout which is alright but you probrably have to run through it 5 times to really get the benefits of the ab workout.

I was SO excited when I heard this was coming out. I have been trying to lose a few pounds for years, but have a major problem with motivation... So I thought, hey, this looks fun and its only 30 minutes. I can do that!
The dvd has 5 women (One of which has an AMAZINGLY annoying voice) doing 3 - 8 minute repetitions. I didn't even work up a sweat doing this workout. It might be good for toning, but "high calorie burn dance blast" it certainly isn't. I wouldve been better off using that money on a gym membership.
