Product Description Global Wonders: Around the World Music brings children and families an authentic cultural musical experience from around the globe. The album features an Emmy Award winning composer, and culturally authentic musical performances creating a uniquely fun and educational experience. Featuring authentic cultural styles, original compositions, and fun sing-a-long songs, this album is a fun way for families to explore new cultures and musical genres from around the world. Global Wonders: Around the World Music is produced and composed by Emmy Award winner Jim Latham, whose work includes original songs, themes and scores for a variety of children's programming (JoJo's Circus, Dragon Tales, and Disney Princess: A Christmas of Enchantment). For Global Wonders, Latham leveraged his broad musical experiences to meet the challenge of creating an album that is both kid friendly, and culturally authentic/educational. The first album in the series includes the Global Wonders Theme Song (A Great Big World) featuring a catchy sing-long chorus with layers of instruments from 8 different countries, including an Indian Sitar, Australian Didgeridoo, Japanese Koto, Ghana log drum, and Scottish Bagpipe. On Global Wonders Hello children are introduced to words and phrases to say Hello in 10 different languages. The album includes 19 songs covering cultures and musical styles from around the world including India, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Argentina, Japan, Ireland, Cuba, and US (New Orleans Jazz, and Hawaiian Tiki). Highlights include a unique version of Vande Mataram, (India's national song and the second most popular song in the world per the BBC) which incorporates a children's choir into the chorus, Go Go Greece, a get-up-and-dance traditional Greek song, Banda Dance from Mexico, the Bollywood style India Celebrations, and America The Beautiful in a gospel vibe. This is an album sure to be enjoyed by parents and kids alike.

| Customer Reviews: Great variety of music that kids love July 2, 2009 minnemom (Minnesota) My kids love this CD. Some of the songs are familiar to them, as they've watched the Global Wonders DVD's over and over, and others are new. I love that they greet each other with "namaste" and are really learning about other cultures through these products. Well done!
Great for kids and adults June 17, 2009 Rajeev S. Shah (New York, NY USA) My son loves this CD. He walks around singing the "Hello" song until we put it on for him. As he gets older, he's starting to recognize the instruments so we love that he can associate the instrument with the sound (since they use real instruments). It's a great complement to the videos. When's the next one coming out?
Global Wonders Around the World Music June 17, 2009 Darrin S. Kozak (San Gabriel, Ca)
Our son(5) got this as a gift from a friend, He would listen to it 24/7 if we let him. The songs are fun and they use real instruments so it is very adult friendly. I am happy to listen too!
It is something I will buy for our next kid gift and I love that you don't need batteries and it is actually a sound that is pleasant.
GREAT Variety of Songs - Lots of Fun!! June 11, 2009 CB Clark (Los Angeles, CA) This is such a great little CD. My kids (5 and 1 years old) love it. It's just a really good mix of songs that exposes them to different music. The kids favorites are: the Italian, "Pass the Pasta Again", the two Indian songs, the Hawaii Tiki song, and the really upbeat Cuban song. These aren't cheesy kids songs that will drive you crazy. It is authentic music that is really fun. There is some really upbeat songs, some a little slower and some really unique music as well -- a really good variety. I look forward to another one.
