Product Description Why do photographs sometimes not appear onscreen with the vibrancy of how the scene was shot? Why does color vary from monitor to monitor? The fact is, all monitors (yes, both new and old) display color differently. But with Eye - One Display LT, you can achieve accurate onscreen color just like the pros - without having to become a pro. Eye - One Display LT calibrates your monitor and adjusts the color onscreen, so your images remain true. Now you don't have to make excuses for poor color; your work can speak for itself.

Don't waste your money February 16, 2010 Michael R. Price (NoWhere, WV) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
First and foremost, this product does not do what it is advertized to do. The software did not install at all. I had to go to their website and download the latest software and diagnostics. And I spent far too much time trying to just get the software up and running. Second, the item did NOT measure any contrast on my LCD monitor. When I called tech support, which did call back the next day, they said it is common for contrast to not be properly read on LCD monitors and to use the default contrast setting. Huh? He then tried to talk me into upgrading to the Display 2, which has a lot more functionality, for $99 but he thought he could get me 25% off. I thought they should have given me a much better deal than that to compensate me for a product that did not work as advertized. I sent this back and hope I get my money back. It is NOT worth your $$$; spend it on something else.
Best calibration for the money January 30, 2010 Gadget Hound For calibrating a PC monitor, nothing could be easier. You just plug it in, stick it to the center of the monitor, and run the software. Presto! Perfect colors. This will even work with the freeware ColorHFCR software to calibrate an HDTV. Clearly the best bang for the buck.
Easy installationa and usage January 28, 2010 C. Martinez (New York City) I have noticed an improvement in the output of my photographs helping me in the process of producing my artworks.
Always produces green tinted profiles on my Dell 2408WFP and laptop monitor January 22, 2010 A. Peterson (Atlanta, GA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Biggest complaint - it doesn't work and the profiles it produces are sickly green tinted. Second complaint - the software wizard is very complicated, unintuitive and you MUST read all the little helper text if you don't want to make major mistakes (always click the little arrows in the upper right and always scroll to the bottom of the help text section to not miss anything important).
So disappointing. I also tried calibrating my laptop monitor and the results were even worse - totally green tinted. I wish I could return it, but it was a gift.
My setup is OSX with a Dell 2408WFP monitor and I downloaded the latest version of their software (v3.6.3). I always reset my monitor to factory defaults before running the software and then switch it to RGB mode (not sRGB). The profile always turns out greenish blue when I select the 6500K white point and makes the screen look sickly. I've tried using their calibration tool many times trying to tweak here and there to make it work right, but it always turns out looking worse than the default Apple profile for my monitor.
This isn't rocket science and I am technically a scientist, my conclusion is that my unit must be faulty.
Very Happy January 5, 2010 Colten K. Henry (Topeka KS) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this product with the Color HCFR program to calibrate my HDTV. For this purpose it did a wonderful job and I couldn't be happier.
However, the program that comes with it is absolutely horrendous. I attempted to use it to calibrate my computer monitor. It did it automatically, and when it was done it was so bad that it hurt my eyes. It was way to bright, and while it said the color was "balanced" it was waaayyy to blue.
While this would be a 5 star product, the included software is so bad I could only give it 4 stars.
However, if you plan on using the Color HCFR program to calibrate your HDTV or monitor, I believe this product is very hard to beat for the price.
