Product Description Enjoy the thrill of catching fish without the mess of cleaning them! With this unique Wii fishing game, the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers will allow players to relive all the excitement and tension of fishing in the comfort of their own living room. Explore 6 photorealistic lakes, from a meteorite crater turned lake to a man-made recreational reservoir. Play in a number of game modes, including three single player modes and a multiplayer mode that even allows fisherman to compete against each other via online WiFi play! 6 unique areas in total, but each area is much larger, giving much more area to cover and fish. Full tutorial with interactive aspects. You can choose the season, 3 different weather options and 3 different times of day which affect the fish behavior. By moving the Wii Remote side to side, you can tease and bait the fish. Fishing camera has a wide angle to see where fish are. ESRB Rated E for Everyone

boring September 20, 2009 Marc E. Rayborn (Michigan) did not like this game. It is pretty boring. Hard to catch the fish, and even harder to get them in the boat. Would rather go real fishing!! If you like a "slow" paced game, this would be the game for you.
kmm4k September 15, 2009 KMM4K (WI) Game itself is great. My boys (9 & 11) don't want to stop playing. However, the extra fishing pole/reel were very flimsy and, while they were so excited for that part of it, they just use the regular controller now. Save the consumer the money and skip the extra fishing pole.

If I was supposed to get a controller with my purchase I did not recieve it. As far as the game goes I rate it a high 2 . It just doesnt keep you interested.
Not what expected June 12, 2009 D. Morgan 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a birthday gift my 10 year old son rcvd. The "rod" broke as he tried to put the two pieces together (the internal connectors were not sturdy, we were told they are NOT warrantied), and after he only hooked three of 40+ fish he nailed, he took it out of the system, and has not played since. He thinks the fishing game included with the Wii was more enjoyable!
DO NOT BUY June 11, 2009 C. R. Pence 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The rod and reel are extremely flimsy and broke after five minutes of play. It is really hard to keep fish on after hooking, there is just tooooo much for kids to keep up with. Don't plan on playing this with multiple players on the same console. Multi player is only online!
