Product Description MODEL- G56-00042 VENDOR- MICROSOFT FEATURES- Voodoo Vince Voodoo Vince is an outrageous venture-from the streets of New Orleans to the depths of a Louisiana bayou-where players explore and fight as a tattered-but-tough voodoo doll on a quest to find the whereabouts of his keeper Madam Charmaine. In true voodoo style Vince encounters and defeats quirky monsters and villains .. by kicking his own butt! By racing under a falling safe jumping into a high-speed blender or leaping under falling rubble Vince is sure to defeat his enemies-all while managing to escape completely unscathed. * Voodoo combat action: Players can employ more than 30 voodoo attacks that do outrageous things to Vince but its the monsters who end up hurting! Unlike in other games players must actually USE dangers and hazards instead of running from them. Falling safes prickly pushpins and bolts of lightning bring a whole new meaning to the phrase no pain no gain. * Magical voodoo world: Thrust into the depths of a twisted and dangerous world Vince must trek through 30 detailed levels including crawfish- laden swamps a graveyard filled with imps and lost zombies a fantastic French Quarter and a network of boggy sewers. * Vehicles and minigames: As the game unfolds Vince must master and pilot a number of vehicles including a fanboat a submarine an airplane-and even a rat gives him a lift at one point. Vince must master one mind- bending minigame after another to complete his quest. * Dynamic cast of characters: No adventure would be complete without its host of surly characters. Offbeat creatures with all the charm of New Orleans are around every corner. Vince encounters everything from Ginger Dead Men (who are not exactly sugar-coated) to a pair of intoxicated gas pumps that offerup a fiery challenge. Brilliant May 16, 2009 gym rat (NJ) Vince's smart-talking banter keeps you laughing as you travel through zany levels. This game provides a wide variety of level locations and challenges. Don't buy this game if you can't handle frustration from some things in the game not working as they should sometimes. SPOILER ALERT the carnival level near the end has jumps and landings that can be tempermental as well as the swinging from rings in part one of the final boss.
great game in all respects February 23, 2009 Joe Schmo voodoo vince has it all as far as xbox games go, good graphics, good sound effects and music. my son played and loved the demo for this that came on crimson skies. so if you wanna check it out first and have crimson skies, go there. thats where we decided to find the game, and got it here on amazon. there are lots of interesting environments and tasks to complete, as well as action against various baddies all over the place. the little voodoo doll vince is a real smart aleck, and his comments pretty funny. this game won't disappoint.
Great game December 29, 2008 Jessica M. Beavers (Mobile, AL) This is a fun game, for adults. I would not let my 6 year old play it. Too many weird / scary things to try to explain. Really cute, but gets difficult (I'm not a gaming expert).
great game August 21, 2007 Rosalee R. Anderson (chippewa falls, WI) I like this little guy, hes entertaining and fun, and if you think its easy its really not for most. and it will make you laugh and get you frustrated at the same time. have fun with it.
Snarky and funny romp through the Big Easy April 26, 2007 Gryphon Osiris Basically, Voodoo Vince takes a page from Midevil and Psyconauts and uses rock solid game play with a total ascrewed off beat sense of humor.
You are Vince, Madam Charmaine's 3rd best Voodoo doll, brought to life by a pair of blundering goons trying to steal a bottle of magic Voodoo powder. While Vince has the classic jump, double jump and melee attacks, where he shines is in self-inflicted punishment. He has a variety of special attacks that hits him with some bizzare attack, resulting in him transfering it to all enemies in range (he is still a voodoo doll, after all). Combine that with his smart mouth, rather lazy attitude, and all out randomness it makes for a new twist on a classic idea.
It is most certainly worth picking up (particularly now since the price has come down so much), and just letting yourself laugh outloud at all the random silliness contained within.
