| Customer Reviews: Cute but very small March 2, 2010 E. Wills (dillsburg, pa, US) This mini backpack is very mini. When you unzip it, it has a divider inside to make two separate compartments. We put the ds in the back one and the front one will only fit an adapter or some games but probaby not both very easily. It does come with a hook to hook it on to a larger backpack or bag which is nice and it is very well made and has very thick padding. I did order a different larger Mario backpack which is perfect to carry everything for your ds and I ended up using this as a camera case. Works great for that.
Smaller than expected. February 1, 2010 K. Phelps (Elkhart, IN USA) Our daughter asked for this to hold her Nintendo DS; her other one was a little small. I guess we never really looked at the dimensions, but when we received it, it was DINKY!! It holds her DS just fine, but hardly any space for anything else. She really seems to like it, so we give it 3 stars, but I would spend more money and get a case that houses the DS plus other stuff.
nice product, misleading picture October 27, 2009 M. Reed 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I've been looking for a DS case that isn't bulky, and I found this at Wal-Mart. The picture on here is misleading. It actually looks like a full sized backpack. It, of course, is not, and is actually just big enough to fit a DS and a few games (which is what I wanted). The straps do nothing, and are only for style. There is only a netting pocket, and a small velcro pocket in the actually "backback". There are no other additional pockets. The padding on the inside is soft, and won't scratch the DS. The best part, however, is this thing is LIGHT. Because of this, the outsides are pretty thin and may not protect a DS from a big drop. If you wanted something that is light, won't scratch your DS, will carry a few games, and looks nice, then this is for you. If you want a case that fits all yours games and accessories, then there are better alternatives.

Not a backpack, but definitely mini July 22, 2009 S. Zimmerman 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is in no way a backpack-- you would never strap it on and carry it on your back... there isn't even backpack straps on it. Instead there is one strap down the back, in the middle, with a snap-click on it and a key ring on the top (perhaps to attach to an actual backpack?). This 'backpack' IS mini: 6 1/4 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide, and 2 1/5 inches deep. It fits a DS and little else (though it does have a lot of padding-- which takes up room in this tiny case). I had to run to the store to get the larger DS backpack so my kids could actually carry their DS, charger, and plenty of games-- and wear it on their backs. The picture showed promise, and if this was 3 inches bigger in all directions we'd be happy, but those 9 inches are definitely needed (along with backpack straps) to ever consider it a mini backpack.
