Product Description
THE SEASONS ARE CHANGING AND TINKER BELL, WITH HER FOUR FAIRY FRIENDS HARD AT WORK TURNING SUMMER INTO FALL. WHILE EVERYONE IS PREPARING FOR THE FALL CELEBRATION, TAKE OFF IN A HOT AIR BALLOON WITH TINKER BELL AND HER FRIENDS TERRANCE AND BLAZE ON AN AMAZING SECRET JOURNEY BEYOND PIXIE HOLLOW.

Amazon.com
Tinkerbell is back for a whole new season of adventure in Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure. Pixie Hollow is all abuzz with preparations for autumn and Tinkerbell is hard at work on her latest invention when she is unexpectedly summoned by Queen Clarion and the Minister of autumn. Tinkerbell fears that she's in trouble again, but is instead delighted to find out that Fairy Mary has recommended her for the important job of creating a one-of-a-kind scepter that will focus the light of an unusual blue harvest moon through a rare moonstone in order to replenish the pixie dust tree's supply of pixie dust. Tinkerbell gladly rises to the challenge, accepting her dust-keeper friend Terrence's offers of help, but as the days fly rapidly by, pressure begins to build and Tinkerbell becomes annoyed by Terrence's constant attention. Sending Terrence away on an errand seems like a good idea, but what he brings back inadvertently causes the almost finished scepter and the incredibly rare moonstone to break into pieces. Tinkerbell lashes out at Terrence and then departs alone on a desperate quest to fix the moonstone. What Tinkerbell learns on her journey is that she must take responsibility for her own actions and that the power and value of true friendship is much greater than she'd ever imagined. Like the first Tinkerbell, the colors and clarity of animation are simply breathtaking in this production, but the story lags somewhat thanks to a lengthy set up and a general lack of suspense in the first half of the film. Still, it's a perfectly entertaining movie that will delight children ages 3 and up as well as satisfy most parents. Returning voice talent includes Mae Whitman, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Horrocks, Anjelica Huston, Jesse McCartney, and Raven-Symone. --Tami Horiuchi

5 out of 5 stars I'm so glad I bought this for my daughter   March 18, 2010
Jessica N. Sterling (North Carolina)
We have watched this movie several times since purchasing it recently. I still find new little jokes when I watch it. It's a children's movie, but one that's enjoyable for parents. I especially liked the out-takes. My 3-year-old loved the new pirate plot line. It's quite suspenseful and has a nice unexpected twist. It's just as fun as the original Tinkerbell movie, so if you enjoyed that, be sure to add this one to your collection.

5 out of 5 stars "Tinkerbell Treasure" is my daughters current favorite   March 18, 2010
Jessica (Redmond, WA United States)
My daughter is 2.5 and this is her favorite movie. She can't sit through any other movie, but can watch tinkerbell over and over. I don't mind, I like them too! Grandma watched her a few days ago and I put my daughter to sleep right and turned off the movie at the climax of the movie.... I came down stairs to find my mother saying "I had to see what happens!"

The movies are fantastic and I am glad to find out there are 2 more on the way.

5 out of 5 stars A Tinkerbell Trasure!   March 14, 2010
Gail H. Harvey (New Haven, CT USA)
My three year old granddaughter loves Tinkerbell. When I purchased this movie, she was in heaven. I babysit for her three days a week and we watch it at least two times each day. She gets very excited at all of the different parts that she knows (like when the rats appear). It is a great learning tool also. She tells me when Tinkerbell is "not nice" and that Tinkerbell needs to tell Terence and Blaze that "she is sorry" for hurting their feelings. She asks me every day if Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue "is ready yet for Nana to buy". It's going to be a long, long time for her to wait until the Fall. Everytime you watch one of these great Disney movies you see something that you didn't notice the last time you watched it. The animation is awesome and the music is terrific. I recommend this movie to everyone.

4 out of 5 stars My Seven-Year Old (And The Rest Of The Family!) Loved This Film!   March 14, 2010
Daniel V. Reilly (Upstate New York, United States)
My Seven-Year Old Daughter begged us to watch TINKER BELL AND THE LOST TREASURE with her on Christmas morning, which is already saying a lot......of all the stuff she received from Mom and Dad (and Santa!), THIS is what she chose to explore first. I wasn't exactly enthusiastic about spending a few hours watching a Tinker Bell cartoon, but what choice did I have...?
Well, I'm not too big to admit when I was wrong......TINKER BELL AND THE LOST TREASURE is a wonderfully fun movie, and we ALL enjoyed it. The story and characters are endearing, the animation is beautiful, and looks especially good on the Blu-Ray, and the extras gave my Daughter a lot more to watch once the film was over.
Don't tell anyone, but I'm actually looking forward to the next Tink movie........

5 out of 5 stars Enchanting... Disney magic!   March 2, 2010
Esperanza Reynolds (Miami Lakes, Florida)
This movie review is part of my obligation to Amazon for accepting to be a member of the Vine program, a club of selected customers that provide opinions about "new and pre-released items." We enter this club by accepting free copies of products but we promise in return to submit an opinion.

To see one of our favorite movies come up as a choice was simply an opportunity we could not bypass and it is with great anticipation that we finally saw Tinkerbelle and the Lost Treasure, an adventure where Pixie Hollow prepares for Autumn while Tinkerbelle gets called by Queen Clarion.

Tinkerbelle has been given the task of creating a scepter that will capture energy from the moon to produce and replenish her "pixie" dust. Without giving the plot away, this Disney DVD will enchant adult, teenagers and children as you watch Tinkerbelle learn the important lesson of responsibility for her own actions.

Just witnessing the delight the movie produced was joyful enough. The animation is magnificent, the plot fun and entertaining, and the movie will satisfy "children" of all ages.

Highly recommend adding this film to your collection. Don't miss it!
