2 out of 5 stars Disappointing   November 3, 2009
Lisa Holmes (Chicago, IL)
When I saw the cover, I instantly thought this was going to be a good seek and find game. Once I received it, I was disappointed because it is just like the "Mystery PI" game. I guess next time I will take the time to read the specs before I just buy.

4 out of 5 stars Love the game, it's almost perfect.   October 19, 2009

The game is fun and entertaining. Love the mini games.

This game could of been perfect had the makers included some kind of magnifying tool to use on searching for small things, like bugs, keys, etc.

While playing I find the things I can see and for the little stuff, I use my own magnifying glass for the small things. Would of been very helpful if the game actually had one built in. How hard could that of been?

All in all it's a fun and entertaing game. Just some things are hard to see.

This game is very similar to PI Mystery.

4 out of 5 stars Great puzzle hidden object game   October 15, 2009
eau (USA)
Amazing Adventures: The Forgotten Ruins is a mystery type, seek-n-find game. Although it is basically a wannabe of the Nintendo's Mystery title, it's still a decent puzzle game to play on the Nintendo DS.

The gameplay consists of several mini-games such as jigsaw puzzles and memory tests. There are 20 missions each consisting of 5 levels of gameplay. The game cycles through seek-n-find puzzle to mini-game to seek-n-find and so on. This flow seems to work well in this game because the mini-games present some needed refreshment to the constant, repetitive nature of the seek-n-find.

PopCap has released a casual but solid, simple puzzle game that is well worth the admission price.

4 out of 5 stars Seek & Find   October 12, 2009
Solitaire Fan
This is another seek & find game I bought and is just as much fun as Mystery PI: Portrait of a Thief. This makes my total 3 and am still looking for more of them. These are enjoyable for many, many hours even after you have solved the mystery.

4 out of 5 stars amazing ruins   September 19, 2009

The game is really fun during the first time around but it starts to repear and then becomes a repeat of the places with different things to find.
