This was a really nice game. Some of the discs seem to have problems, as was mine, but they sent a backup disc to help. This game does not run well on old computers, the screen looks weird. However, it runs nicely on fast computers. You adopt over 100 animals from Zoo tycoon 2 and all of its expansion packs. Its really fun to create awesome exibits. there are also many cool buildings you can build like sushi stands annd aquariums. This is one of the most awesome computer games ever!

My daughter has yet to play this game since, like most people said on the reviews, disc number 3 did not work. After spending 1 hour on the phone with Microsoft tech support, I finally spoke with someone who said there have been problems with the disc. He was very pleasant, offered an apology, and is sending a complete new disc set, which we have yet to receive. I decided to call Amazon and they knew of no problems with the set, which I find hard to believe with all of the customers' reviews stating exactly that. I think next time I will try to buy locally.

I bought this for my son and he loved it. He interacted with the animals in the game. It taught him how to fossil build, fossil find, training tricks, and healing sick animals. It taught him great responsibility so we got a pet for him. My son was 10 when I bought the game. He's 11 1/4 and he still loves it.
When we go on long car trips, he spends all the battery life on his computer playing it. Overall he rates it a 10 out of 5 bonus points. It is a really goood buy and quite educational!

Want to start off by saying there are still copies out there with the defective disc 3. I called Microsoft and they sent me a replacement which arrived in less than a week. (yes, I was shocked too) After I installed with the replacements, disc one didn't seem to work (would repeatedly ask me to insert disc 1). I restarted my computer and all seems well now.
As to the game, it's exactly what I expected. Great fun for people who like sim type games. Graphics could be a little better but that's not a big issue with me. I haven't played it all that much yet as I just got the replacements on Monday but so far I recommend it. Just wish they would find a way to recall all the defective discs.

The worst. Could not play the game because disc three would not load. Microsoft replaced the game and the new disc do not work. Don't waste your money
