I can't say much that has not been said already -- this is a must-have for Metal Gear fans, period. Read other reviews to understand carefully that Metal Gear Solid 1 is a PS (PlayStation, One) disc. The others are PS2 discs.

If your a fan of the Hideo Kajima series then this is a must have item, not only is it at a good price but also a great deal. You get not one but the three originals in the metal gear solid series which is great for those who love the story line and want to own the entire collection. Each is just like the originals of the games nothing excluded, the only thing I think they could do to improve this set is by adding the forth and final installment to Solid Snakes story games other than that it's just about perfect.

I owned a Playstation when I was a kid but never got into the MGS series. I just recently got a PS2 for real cheap and picked up a bunch of stuff that I never got around to, this included. This has to be one of the best purchases I've made in a long time and I plan to keep it forever!
