 Great game! (And how to find the bonus strategy guide) October 26, 2009

I played this for the first time some seven-eight years ago and it's still just as fun today! Even though it's an older game it works very well on my XP. This pack includes not only Zoo Tycoon, Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs, but it also includes several other extra features I thought I should mention:
-Endangered Species Theme Pack: 12 new, rare animals such as komodo dragon, wild horse and yetti (I think. Though in truth I'm not sure exactly how the yetti got into my zoo. It also includes 40 new objects and three bonus scenarios. This is installed when you install the game for the first time, and all the new animals will automatically be in your zoo.
-Sybex Strategy guide: This is a huge guide in PDF format filled with TONS of information packed into it's 200+ pages. It's a little hard to find at first. To get to it, put disk one in your drive and then go to START and then MY COMPUTER. You should see an image of Zoo Tycoon in your d-drive. Right click it and select 'Explore'. In the new window, select the file called 'GOODIES'. There you will find the file with the guide in it.
Even if you've never played this and don't know if you should buy such an old game, try it anyway! It's only $10 and will keep you busy for hours.

I used to play this game when it first came out, I would say that this is one of the games that had the best value.
Overall, amazing game. I would suggest it to anyone.

This is the most amazing game I've come across in a long time and I have to fight to keep from playing it too much. Actually, one does not "play" this game. It's a business from the ground up with many challenges and much to learn. Not only do you learn about business, but you learn about the animals and their specific needs. This is a game that keeps you hopping. It takes patience and willingness to rectify mistakes. Don't give up. It took me four zoos before I was really successful and I learned much during that time. By the way, I received three different zoo games on one CD, Zoo Tycoon, Marine Mania and Dinosaur Digs. All are great!

Couldn't get this in Singapore.So, had to order thru' Amazon.I don't play video games:too old for this sort of thing.Bought it for my son,he loves it.

I had previously owned this game a few years ago but unfortunately lost it. I was looking for a cheap replacement because I loved this game. I was more than happy with what I received. This game is highly entertaining and has so many options that you never get bored.
