5 out of 5 stars Good romp   November 19, 2009

Great story, good graphics, excellent voice acting. The controls are easy to use and very intuitive.

5 out of 5 stars Great   November 18, 2009

I love this game! I played it through three times right out of the box. It can have a few hiccups but as far as just being fun it's in my top 3. I'm going to pickup Uncharted 2 this week, it's supposed to be even better. Good stuff.

4 out of 5 stars Uncharted: Drake's Fortune   November 18, 2009
Stephen R. Schinker (Plymouth, MN USA)
Drakes' Fortune was a great game, with wonderful images, characters and plot line. It was easy to learn and fast paced. The humor was enjoyable and added to the experience.

The first person shooter aspects great, side tasks would add to the value.

I'd recommed this game for the quality and fun.

4 out of 5 stars Almost Perfect...   November 18, 2009
Jericho77 (California, USA)
I purchased this game first in order to get the feeling out of this game before purchasing Uncharted two. Well let me tell you. This is one of the best games I have played. This game does a good job with the graphics, the acting, and the small details that were put into it. This reminded me of Heavenly Sword. One the few games that I have played (also own) which also have amazing graphics. This game combines a third person shooter experiance while also having the ability to hid and shoot like in Grand theft Auto 4 and Quantum Of Solace (which I also own). So why four stars? The only thing that bothered me about this game was the face that their are too many parts where you have the jump and cling to something in order to reach a certain place. That eventually got somewhat boring. I probably died more time by falling than by getting killed by gunfire. Overall, this is not a difficult game, but prepare to fall off constantly (or maybe thats just me). I just finished this game and am now preparing to get Uncharted 2 which also has good reviews.

3 out of 5 stars A bit disappointing after playing the 2nd   November 13, 2009
M. Fairgrieve (Oregon)
When I first got my PS3, Uncharted 2 was one of the first games I purchased. I was blown away by how fun it was in every way. I was hooked from start to finish. Once I was done I figured, maybe the first one will be fun, too. At first it had the same feel to it; excitement behind every corner to be had. After the first hour or so, however, the story became as basic as an old school Mario story with rescuing the damsel in distress and all. Obviously the central point of the story is finding El Dorado, but soon this game became a pointless run and gun exercise. The controls and graphics are on par with the second game, but the second game pretty much fixed all the problems this game had. The trophies are almost identical to the second one as well, so this makes this game a decent rental, but I would advise against purchasing it for yourself.
