Product Description Easily charge and store your Wii Remotes with Nyko's Charge Station for Wii. The Charge Station includes 2 NiMH batteries, exclusively designed for the Wii Remote, each providing up to 25 hours of play time. Each battery is easily recharged by placing the Wii Remote in the charging dock. The charging dock conveniently plugs into any standard wall outlet, allowing for rapid recharging of both batteries in 8 hours. The Charge Station includes 2 custom battery covers with contact pass-through points so you can charge the batteries while they are still in the remote. Each battery cover is also rubberized for superior grip during intense gaming sessions. The Charge Station matches the decor and styling of the Wii, and is small enough to fit in any home entertainment center.

Wii Charge Station November 16, 2009 Christopher R. Redleaf (Havelock, NC) My wife and I bought the wii remote chargers because having to buy batteries ever so often is such a hassle. So far the charger is working great! The only thing I have to note about it is in the instructions it says that when the remote is not on the charger the light indicator is red. This is not the case with our charger. It doesn't show any color at all. The only lights that are displayed are blue (charging) and green (charged). If you don't like buying batteries for your controllers then I suggest this product.
Steady power November 16, 2009 M. V. Mone (Bronxville, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We've owned this little unit for 2 years now and it's been fantastic. The units works as advertised and keeps our Wiimotes charged for hours of gaming fun. The only problem we've ever experienced with it is, well, you can't use it with the Wiimote protectors that are shipped with the the Nintendo remotes, so we've just taken them off and don't use them at all. The other thing is that, occasionally, if you don't seat the Wiimote properly on the unit, it won't charge. We have to pull the wrist strap string tightly forward otherwise it keeps the battery from making contact with the unit. Other than that we've had zero problems with the unit or the rechargeable batteries which are still going strong. Highly recommended.
Doesn't last November 13, 2009 Jenni (Virginia) This worked for less than a year, and when it did charge it was difficult to get the connection right. While it did save on batteries while it worked, there was a problem with it from the beginning.
It never works November 2, 2009 J. Bergad I bought one like 1 year ago and now it stopped charging the controllers. The batteries are fine but it stopped charging and I think it is GARBAGE!!!!!!
Must Have! October 26, 2009 Maria Tejeda I love the wii charge station! My kids would go through so many batteries that I swore I was paying for the Wii sytem all over again. But once I got the charge station we were all in heaven. This gadget comes with rechargable batteries and all you do is put them in your remotes and sit them on the station to recharge. That's all there is to it...no more money thrown away in batteries.
