Had it for close to a month now... November 18, 2009 J. Kaye Oldner (http://j-kaye-book-blog.blogspot.com/) This was a purchase for my daughter to use for the Rosetta Stone Version 3: Spanish (Latin America) Level 1 with Audio Companion. I was surprised at the quality. My oldest son purchased one that is similar for more than double the money. I was hoping there would be complete outside noise reduction, but it's not. It does, however, muffle much of the background noise. Sound quality is good as well as the mic. Works really well with the Rosetta Stone language package. The padding is comfortable for her to wear for extended periods without discomfort.

I got this for Skype calls--teleconferences. It's an excellent set, good sound quality, comfy, mike works great. Having two ear covers is kind of strange because you can't hear yourself talk as you normally do, but you get used to it, and that's not a defect in the set by any means. If you want a headset that will block out some of the noise around you while you talk and listen, go for this one.
My Thoughts November 16, 2009 James F. King I bought this headset to be able to my my own home vedio clips as well as convert tons of tapes to CD etc. The sound is very good. The set seems to work very well. Also JR shipped it quickly and their service is good as well. For me, the headset is comfortable as well. I have not had any problems aith the unit and am very satisfied with it.
Not a good choice for PS3 users November 16, 2009 Rafi Parrr (KAty, TX USA) I bought this alongside Modern Warfare 2 for my PS3, thinking it would help out with the multiplayer. I usually play games with headphones on since I have a roommate, but as of November 2009, there is no way to get the PS3 to send audio out through a USB connection. Because this is an over-ear headphone, you have to have one ear covered with this, and the other ear open to listen to the TV, or, if you want to use headphones, you have to have this thing hanging around your neck with the mic in front of your mouth while you use another pair of headphones to listen to the game. This device could at least have a second cable or at least an attachment so that it can receive audio through both USB and headphone jack, but as it stands, this device is nearly useless for Playstation gamers.
Very disappointed overall.
Works well for webinars November 6, 2009 Anne H. (Mechanicsburg, PA USA) I bought this to participate in several industry webinars & it has worked well for me. I can't attest to the mic capacities because I haven't used the mic at all; my webinars are muted.
