I have had this game for a couple fo years now, and i am still obsessed with it! i have played rct and rct2, but this is better than both combined! the graphics are awesome, i LOVe the rollercoaster cam mode, and its fun to have rollercoasters, thrill rides, gentle rides, junior rides, water slides, and animal exhibits! if your looking for a fun game, DEFIANTLY choose this one! it does not say that it works with vista on amazon but it does!

This is a MUST have for RCT fans and anyone who dreams of creating the ultimate theme park. I played the first RCT and loved it, but always felt like it could be better. RCT 3 Platinum is what I always imagined this game should've been. Buy it now, you won't regret it.
Pros:
* Sandbox mode! Sandbox mode!
* Sandbox mode for creating coasters, family groups, AND scenarios
* Import old designs from the other two games
* Create a water park, a zoo, or both
* All sorts of crazy themes for your park, and the scenery and rides to back it up
* Fireworks!
* Tons of rides, never repetitive
* Great music
* Fun and addicting
Cons:
* Whacky camera controls, especially when near mountains
* Certain scenarios really frustrated me, like when VIP's had to ride certain rides, but never seemed to want to actually go over to the ride and ride it
* Big parks get laggy and make for long load times

We purchased this game for our 8year old son and he has really enjoyed playing with it. We took him to Cedar Point Amusement Park this summer and he loved riding all the roller coasters he was eligible to ride. With this game he is able to recreate some of those rides and invent some of his own.

I purchased this game for my 8 yr.old son. He plays it for hours. The parks he builds are out of this world very user friendly for him. He is the biggest roller coaster fan in the world and this game really hits home for him. He did have the original roller coaster tycoon, so he has been a fan for quite some time.

This was for my grandson and he had always borrowed the game and wanted his own. It's something that brings out the creativity in a person and gives a feel for being on the rides as well as constructing the parks with themes etc.
Buying this game through amazon was very money saving and the product was like new.
